i'm not sure where people are seeing the likeness problems. i think it looks pretty spot on. it's a great figure. the expression might not please everyone of course, but i think in hand it wouldn't be that much of a problem. people should be more worried about, which others have already mentioned, the material for the suit. looks like it's already showing minor cracking in the promo pics. few weeks worth of posing and it could become flakier and more wrinkled than joan rivers' downstairs mix-up.

She looks fantastic, even in crappy lighting:

i swear, in those pics it's like she trying to say "oh no, you didn't", especially with how the head was angled on the neck, and the hand on the hip.

For some reason in that pic she does not look like she did in the rest of the movie. She looks more like herself in other parts of the movie.

edit: Even with that pic its something off with the likeness, i cant put my figure on what it is thoug,

i swear, i've just rolled my eyes through nearly 10 pages of this thread. For those of you who are afraid to buy this because it's a "barbie" i have news for you: You collect dolls. Sorry to be the one to tell you. Get over it. Rooted hair doesn't suddenly make this a "girlie" toy anymore than the ht planet of the apes figs.

This sculpt, especially from certain angles, is spot-on scarjo. The "sex doll" comments are completely bizarre to me, especially if you've ever watched any of her performances. The slightly open lips look is one of her signature expressions. I can see why they went there. I feel it gives the sculpt more character, and actually helped sell the likeness to me. I definitely don't see that lifeless, vacant look that you normally get in a real doll or whatever.

And yeah, the sideshow jedi luke figure still sports one of the best actor likenesses in my 1/6 collection. It perfectly captures the tension luke feels throughout rotj. I can't believe people still bring that figure up as an example of a bad sculpt. Ridiculous.

I think it looks great...i do see that it's not 100% perfect though.

I think people sometimes forget it's a doll (sorry, action figure) it's not real.

The thing that stands out to me as "off" is the distance between the nose and the lips, the cupid's bow area seems too prominent and larger than it should be...but that's me, i also think the paint is wrong for the character.

She wasn't in that outfit the entire film.She had it on maybe the last half hour of the movie.
This looks great...I can't wait to buy it.

Wow, that figure looks pretty darn sweet. Not a fan of the open-mouth but besides that, I think she looks gorgeous.

They probably went with the open mouth because they were afraid it would draw too many comparisons to the 'Spirit' Scarlett. Regardless I'll probably pick this up and hopefully they have a Nick Fury down the pipeline.
