Now I have a real problem. I took him out the package and he is missing the plasic piece that covers the left knee. I really hope I can get a replacement.

Damn, sorry to hear that.
Before I even opened my box, I heard a lot of rattling on the inside.
I knew right then that something was wrong. None of my other HT boxes had a "rattle" to them.

I thought perhaps that a part of the armor cracked into lots of tiny pieces. What happened was the forearm rocket panels came out of their holders and were scattered all over the inside.

I believe I read somewhere that others were able to contact HT and are getting certain pieces replaced. You may want to try getting a hold of someone soon. Good luck.

I never thought of looking into the Star Wars line but that Maul and Vader are looking very impressive.

Mine came in on the weekend and he's missing the cover piece that goes over his left hand. So now I'm waiting for a shipping label to come in so I can send him back for a replacement.

Might be a batch issue, saw a set with similar problem. I'm sure u will get the missing piece from HT.

HT should/will send the missing piece(s) to you... they did with mine...

HT should have better QC control. A simple check will save them much trouble. Mk. 6 with even more (loose) parts will make it even more difficult for them to monitor...

How hard is it to hire a couple of dudes to sit there and go over every figure they make and make sure the quality is there. Hot Toys is starting to piss me off.

Looks like mine has the faulty pins on the left hip countermeasures. I can get them to go in, but they pop out whenever I move the leg.

While it's a bit of an annoyance, it's not the end of the world.

HT has way better QC than most toy companies imo.

All things considered, I don't think they are worse than any other given company. They have a misstep here or there, but who doesn't? Mattel, Hasbro, Diamond Select, Sideshow, Medicom--everyone has had their issues at one point or another.

The flag might stay somewhat as I'm thinking about moving my SW items to a different place. Might make that top part an IM shelf with the comiquette in the back.

And even Ogre's need some photo love sometimes.

Well I had to pay extra for mine as I'm in Idaho but it was worth it overall. Haven't found anything else that's comparable. Even with the price increase I paid to get them here.

Thank you! I can't say I'm a huge fan of the Sideshow SW 1/6 figures, but I had to have Vader to go with my hilt and he's a very nice figure. So far from what I own and have seen of the PF line they're great. I only have the Darth Maul and Asajj PF's though.

I can't really say any more than what's already been said. On my particular figure both flaps are having a hard time staying in place and I'm not even going to mess with the calf flaps.

You just know you opened something awesome the moment that sleeve comes off. A true 1/6 work of art with very few shortcomings!

As I missed out on, and can't really afford to go back and buy, the other armors I think this one will scratch my IM itch and represent IM beautifully in my collection! It's going to be hard to resist the V and VI!
