It's extremely difficult to match paints, so that's really not an option. Depending on how deep the scratch is, you might be able to buff it out by wiping it with something. I've gotten rid of tiny scratches in clear plastic just using my fingers.

There is a plastic polish called Novus that works really well.

worst case scenario, the head gets messed up, just buy a new head on ebay, they are available. not cheap though i assume.

Thanks jay:hi5: He has a small scratch on his thigh but it doesn't show up in these pics. I also noticed one of the flap on his back doesn't close all the way. Still a sick figure.
Regarding the flap that won't close...

Try bending the aluminum spoiler under the flap at the point closest to the hinge. Bend it so that it more closely resembles the curved portion that it sits into when closed.

It doesn't close correctly because the aluminum spoiler is making the cover spring back out.

Thanks guys for all the tips, finally got rid of that black spot I was sure It wasn´t going to come off so easy.
the black should come off very easily if you just scratch at it with something that wont mark the red paint

Try gently rubbing an eraser over it first.:wink1:

Try using a tiny amount of automotive rubbing compound. It should take it off without affecting the red paint. I had what look like some light black overspray on one of the back flaps on one of my Mark IV's and it came completely off with no problems using a very small amount of 3M Perfect II Rubbing Compound.

I would test it some where other then the face first. But thats me.

Come to think of it, it wasn't overspray, but excess black paint along the grooves on the flap.

I'm thinking Hot Toys puts a clear coat over the base paint. If true, the professional rubbing compound I used doesn't harm the clear coat.
