There are so many models out there that I think you can be forgiven. It's hard enough for me to keep 'em straight. Are you talking about the Nikon D3000?

Maybe? I'm more of a Canon guy so I mostly know what's going on with those. The Nikon I have no idea.

there's always been too many tiny almost unnoticable differences in the suits for me to buy each one from HT, not to say they're poorly made, they're all great. It's just the differences seem to subtle.

They seem huge to me and it always baffles me that no one can see them. At least in terms of the mkII/III vs the mkIV/VI. The differences between the II and III are pretty small and likewise between the IV and VI. I think the paint scheme is what obscures a lot of the differences between the III and IV since they're painted nearly identically.

edit: in an attempt to take the paint schemes out of the comparison, some may still not see the differences but to me, other than the helmets, the suits are as different as the Begins and TDK suits are. The III mostly ignores human muscular anatomy while the VI takes that anatomy as a starting point for the design. It's also always interesting to me, how much the paint scheme on the mkIII makes it look thinner. Even in figure form the II which is almost exactly the same figure as the III looks much bulkier. If you see this same comparison of the two suits in full color, the III looks so much taller than thinner than the VI.

This > War Machine. Best Iron Man Hot Toys collectible, ever!

Do you guys think the Mark IV or the Mark VI is going to be the harder figure to get once they're both on the market for a while?

No matter what the figure is it goes famine, feast and then famine. When its a strict Asian release first like the Mark IV is right now, you'll find it difficult to get a good price, usually eBay sellers especially want at least $30 or $40 over MSRP and then the shipping cost to actually get the piece here which ranges. Once SSC gets their shipment the prices drop you usually can get it close to MSRP and often a bit lower. Nothing drastic but usually less than, I've seen $180 HT figures go for around $150 before shipping. Once those lots go, then its back to famine and you'll find it jumping through the roof.

Look at the HT Mark I, at the lowest there were some on eBay for $130, now it's over $300 at most times. If you're trying to decide you've got a little bit of time but by the middle of 2011 I would imagine that you'll see prices start to head upwards.
