Yeah as has been mentioned a few times that's the mark I version of the Whiplash armor and all signs point to there being a second version that's at least similar to that concept artwork.

I believe what I said was:

Yeah I think that is very much his mark I armor as he uses it to escape prison in a similar fashion to how Stark uses his to escape the 10 Rings. This is rumored to be the design for his mark II. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bit different than this in the film though. It's also how he appeared in a tie-in comic.

I really like the legs on the armor and I think it's the only armor thus far that has really cool looking thighs. Sounds a bit odd but the MarkII/III and Mark IV both have thighs that don't work as well to me visually as the rest of the armor design.

After seeing the trailer today, War Machine is the figure I'm most looking forward to seeing

I really hope we get Nick Fury too, especially if he is signed up for a dozen or so Marvel films. I think Black Widow is a given, but I'd like to get Nick too to round out the Avengers team.

I was wondering today if Hot Toys has already planned on making all of them :

With one or two Wiplash, War Machine, maybe some of the Hammer Drones and Black Widow, I think this line can be a straight line to banckrupcy for me.

I'll probably end up getting the markIV and markVI. Unless I'm totally missing something and the markV is really cool I'll skip that one and I'll try like hell to skip War Machine just to save my monies but that might be a loosing battle.

I will get a War Machine and perhaps Fury, Whiplash or Black Widow. I will have to wait for all the IM versions to hit then decide if they are different enough for purchase.

Never noticed the grey bits on the Mark "VI-2". What's that from? Is that bits he had to replace from a previous battle?

And which Mark do you guys think HT will DX?

Good observation. To me it looks a bit meh. Apart from the helmet, it doesn't really fit into the design asthetic of the marks he wears..

Yeah, I'm not sure that Mark V is really the Mark V. I think the Mark VI listed there is really the Mark V. That Mark V looks too different from the rest. All of that grey/silver and all. Like someone mentioned, that could be the Crimson Dynamo armor. It looks similar to what Whiplash has on him, with added armor of course.

And personally I just think he'll have the Mark IV and Mark V in the movie, with a possible Mark VI being shown in the last scene. I just can't see him keep getting 3 new armors every movie.

Plus if those are Hasbro figures, who knows if they can be trusted. They make all sorts of crazy variants.

And put me down for also wanting Nick Fury and Black Widow in addition to War Machine and the Mark Iv-?s. Whiplash/Crimson Dynamo too!

I heard someone somewhere mention that the Mark V is the jerry rigged quick and dirty version of the mkVI armor after the mkIV has been damaged. A sort mkI is to mkIII what mkV is to mkVI type of thing.

My spider sense tells me that we are gonna get a treat of every armor possible.

i think they are gonna milk us dry on this line guys, iron man 2 is HT 2010's terminator salvation line, IMO.
