No, don't put it on the facebook page. Dedguy only darkened the colors (and not selectively) to emphasize the texture and weathering on the armor, not to alter the colors to represent the CGI model to the right. Take a look at the silver areas of the tweaked image, they're too dark. Don't post that on the HT facebook. Geez.

The lighting and colors in the CG rendered promo shot might not be fully representative of the actual WM suit in the movie.

I'm willing to bet it's the lighting in HT's official pics that could be causing the color of the armor to look a lighter shade, because in the other shots of the figure so far (Tommy Richardson's sneak peeks and HT's preview image on first page), the color looks darker.

I missed this the first time reading through. That's exactly what I was trying to show. The HT photos are in a lightbox and are brightly and evenly lit. Additionally the promo pic is heavily altered almost to the point of looking more like a painting than anything. Likely this was done to help it blend better with the "2" and the background. It's not as obvious on War Machine since it's dark and not terribly reflective but compare the similar promo pic of the mkVI and compare it to stills from the HD trailer and you might see what I was getting at.
