I could be wrong... but haven't almost all the recent HT figures that where distro'd by SSC had exclusive versions?

This thing looks GREAT... except...

What's the deal with the missile launchers? They don't pop up, you have to attach them manually? They're laying on the floor next to the hands in the last pic. Say its not so...

If were getting picky, the figure is mislabeled from the movie too, the right shoulder print is on the left waist area on the figure...

That doesn't matter. What matters is the end result, and when the launchers are displayed, they look awesome. So what if they don't pop-up? Unfortunately HT can't cram everything in there. In the movies it's easier! :D

Yeah I doubt there's even a real existing functional version of the launchers in real life. I'm amazed at the things HT manages to accomplish in scale.

Having the rocket launchers swivel up doesn't seem like a very difficult thing to achieve for HT, that's all I mean. Hell, he's got articulated fingers. I've never seen them do a 'separate attachment' like this before, especially after the Mark III's popped up. Just sayin'.

Probably the only figure from the film I will purchase. Totally happy with the results.

I cannot wait to see this baby on film.

Yeah I get what you're saying.

Yeah I admit I was surprised to see they where a separate piece... but then again I don't really see any need for it to not be separate. Probably makes it less prone to breakage.

sloaner: not yet. Hoping for some mkVI pics soon.

I'd bet that has a lot to do with them getting this proto out so early. The details of the designs they where given I'm sure where not finalized.

It looks like I'm getting WM but I need to see if the new ironman is different enough from the mark 3.
