No way will it be that low, $340 for an Iron Man figure with a new character? Robocop and Murphy were $440, this Pepper and Armor will be more than that.

I can't see it being any less than $400 - that would put it at least $225 for the armor and $175 for Pepper and i think that may be wishful thinking on my part.

Nice looking figure, but becasue im getting the hulk buster wont be possible anytime soon. I do like the light up helmet, wouldn't mind getting it on eBay one day.

I think $450 is a good bet if not more...their iron man figs are all like $300 now and Hill was $220 which makes me think she will be around there. Thats $520. Yikes

Diecast. This isn't. The last normal release plastic iron man was 240ish. And it was starboost I think. Completely new armor. This is not. Pepper can use clothing patterns and body from previous releases. So it's a partly reused plastic iron man and a new head.

If we get lucky, they'll apply a "combo deal" price that is $20 or $30 less than the total of what each figure is worth individually.

Look at the Cap and Steve Rogers set. Both figures are easily worth $200 each, yet on Sideshow the set is only $340. Who knows, we could get lucky and end up with a reasonable price.

Well, I don't know... let's consider what's going into this set.

The Pepper Head Sculpt, and her shoes we know are new sculpts. The light up MK7 helmet... maybe. It might be a new mold, but they probably made it using the existing MK7 sculpt. The helmeted pepper sculpt is new, but they probably stuck it in the same empty MK42 helmet they put Tony's face into.

Her clothes are fairly simply and straightforward; no fancy costume or a lot of stitching here.

Everything else here is using molds that already existed. The MK9, while a new suit, is comprised entirely of existing parts. So the manufacturing cost is spread out on that. Pepper's body is probably just a stock female body.

So it's not to say that they would, but it's possible that HT could sell the set for less than expected. The comparisons being made here are to sets that (I feel) include more custom/new molds than this one does.

But, I imagine we'll know for sure soon enough.

Yeah!
Remember waaaaay back when Hot Toys asked in a poll who'd we like to see as a figure?
Pepper Potts won by a land slide, but was never made.
In another poll Agent Coulson came in dead last and they made him right away.
So yeah,people have been waiting for her for a while.
Myself included!

I still think something as low as $350 is rather optimistic for a set that includes both an Iron Man armor and a new character, but something like $425 (versus the $470 that I threw out there earlier) is a reasonable estimate if they decide to put a "combo deal" price on it.
