Man, I am really conflicted on this one. On the one hand, I have a hard time justifying spending that much on what is essentially a repaint of something I already have. On the other hand, this thing is gorgeous, and I need it.

Does anyone know if the SS EX minibust lights up as well? That would help me swallow the price of this thing.

No conflict here at all, I passed up the Mark III specifically to get this piece. This is the one articulated figure I can pay in excess of 120GBP for... the MK III was great, but this, in the words of the Beatnuts, is off the hook :naughty:naughty

Heck I've even made the painful decision to get this and Hell Boy II over the CIM comiquette... call me crazy, but I'm utterly blown away by this piece and by all the awesome pics I've seen so far! :chew:chew

I wish I could help on the SS EX minbust light-up question, but that's actually one I'd like to know the answer to. :angelsmil

Could anyone possibly post a photo of the two figures with the head and hands swapped? i.e mark 2 hands on the mark 3 body. mark 2 head on the mark 3 body and then the other way around...just to see how silver head and hands would look on the red/gold body? cheers bebs

Took lots of detail shots for crowinghorse of OSW for their review. See them
here if your interested.

I'll just post some of the action shots over here.

Amazing pixs, amazing figure...

My one complaint is my Mark II has 1 magnet (not 3) to hold the attached faceplate. Therefore trying to pose the fig with the faceplate up showing the Stark sculpt is tricky :banghead

Anyone know were the I could get the two side magnets?

Those are some fantastic photos, Kaz!

I especially like this one:

But you should be able to raise the arm fully to shoulder level without having to turn the shoulder armor upside down for this pose!

So your Mark II only has 1 magnet on top of the head and is missing the second one on top and the magnet on the bottom?

Yours isn't like this?

I'm sorry, but I don't know how you can get replacement magnets. Can you contact your seller to get a replacement? I'm not sure if you could get much help from contacting Hot Toys (from what I've been reading on this board).

Part of the reason it looks so good is that it has an even colour all over. The way light reflects, off it's curves, gives a darker colouring to the paint, particularly at any edges and between and where parts meet, and it does it all naturally.

I don't have the Mk3 yet. Does the Mk 3 do that too?

mmmmm. It looks like that but the attached mask doesn't stay. It came with a little square magnet that I use to hold it on. What does the inside of your mask look like?

IndianaFett - Thks for the comment :)
NotDolls, The Josh - Do post pics of yours when you get it!!!
Darkseed - thks, I hope your able to solve your magnet issue.
vodoun - not exactly, only got this cam late last year.
Plasmid - Thank you! yeah, I only realize that when I was resizing it....too lazy to retake it again :p

Like this:

Two metal contact points on top, one hidden on the bottom.

I assumed everyone else's Mark II was the same.
