I'm really Iron Man, Tony Stark is just a puppet.

Just for laughs :rotfl

Looks like he's just done a tackle, Kazu! :D

American Football Iron Man.

Great pics, vodoun, I like the lighting.

Where did you take the photos? Or is the background photoshopped in?

It's a range of things. The only thing that was slightly tweaked was boosting the warm lighting in Photoshop.

Most of the lighting came from my uplighter and the 5 built-in ceiling spotlights.

The background was on my HDTV, with the figure sitting a good 12 - 20 inches in front.

How would you be if you had bought those ones? It gives me a sickening feeling just looking at them and thinking of what could have been.

Maybe the most quality control goes into the exported ones and the poor local collectors cop the fodder, just 'cause the returns are easier to handle.

Anyone got the full story on these? Or did someone really take that advice about tying it to the back of a car and circling the block to get the battle damaged look?

I can't read chinese, so I feel like I'm only getting half the story by just looking at the above photos.

Furious1 is right, they're not scratch marks. It actually reminds me of the paint pitting issue on the HT Robocop 3 figures, but I'm not sure it's the same case.

Jumping to conclusions, aren't you? This could be an isolated problem, inclusive to just the one guy who got it for all we know.

Its not an isolated case. There have been at least 4 that I've heard now, that being the worst of all.

Mine had a bit of those in that exact same spots as well. But they rubbed away, as I applied some force with my thumb. Seems to be tape/glue marks of some sort.

At least mine seems to be the case. But mine was nothing compared to those from the toy-world forum.

So I'm not certain of what happened to that one. Have you got yours btw?

What's wrong with jumping to a conclusion? Okay, that particular one was unfounded, but tell me, why would he get two with problems? Without any words, pictures can only tell you so much, so conclusions are all anyone is going to jump to. At least I can tell that they were two different Ironmen with a paint problem, but that's about all. Sickening to see. Just makes me love mine all the more.

Well, I'd suggest NOT JUMPING at all until we have more information. Before saying something rash, wait for the conclusion most rational.

If this isn't an isolated incident and has been affecting other people, then that is most unfortunate.

Where does it say he got two with problems? I read the original post on toy-world and he got it exchanged. It seems that it is more of an isolated incident because he is the only one that got one in such bad shape.
