Just got mine!! Love it more than the Mk III

What's the deal with SSC sending the email saying they were charging cards on the 20th and it's now the 22nd with nothing?

At least say you'll start charging on the 20th...

Im pretty sure they did.......

We will begin processing all orders for the Iron Man Mark II 12-inch Figure – Sideshow Exclusive collectible (item #9001391) on May 20th.

I dont own either the II or the III but with those of you with both why does it seem the II is most preferred when III is the main movie suit and this isnt shiny like in the movie?

Or does the III look cheap in person?

No for me personally its the head with the mask opening thing, that head is awsome, the paint is great and its just cool
but i love my M3 so much.

I just always thought it looked cooler than the Mark III, in the movie too, not just the figure. In terms of quality they are both equal imo. Just a personal preferance.

I like the Mark II figure more because the mono-color paint job looks better and the subtle shading HT did on the suit enhances the details that are easier to miss on the Mark III armor. Sure, the Mark II figure isn't as reflective as the movie suit, but it's still shiney and just as cool.

I also like the extra head sculpt that is included with the Mark II more than the Tony head included with the Mark III. The opening helmet is fantastic.

The biggest reason is that I thought HT got the color on the Mark III a bit too dark. The MK II just looks better to my eyes. It almost looks like metal, whereas the Mark III does not.

There's a million red/yellow Iron Men(?) out there, but the color on the Mk II is visually amazing to look at in person. Not to take anything away from the Mk III b/c it's still my favorite, but it's just something different in a really good way.

Has Sideshow charged anybody yet? Its a little annoying waiting for them to ship because once they do ship it takes another whole week to get to me.

Can you imagine what they could do with a Robocop using today's techniques?!

I really dont think there is much to improve with Robo. He was a solid figure, even by todays standards.

Has Sideshow charged anybody yet? Its a little annoying waiting for them to ship because once they do ship it takes another whole week to get to me.

I would think that charges will start on tuesday..

So those 'scratch marks' on my mark 2 begin to be more visible as time passes by. So I posted on on HT's facebook page yesterday, and today they contact me saying that its a defect, and they'd gladly repair/change it for me!

What a pleasant surprise! To those of you saying that HT's CS isn't one of the greatest, I beg to differ!

Slightly OT, Enterbay hasn't contact me back yet regarding the defects on 2 of my bruces

yep, very good question. it'll cost me loads to send it back to HT. have they said how you need to send it back?

I don't understand why they say they'll start charging on the 20th and it's now 6 days later and nothing. It's annoying and slightly unprofessional.

Does it really take a full week to charge so few orders?
It's not like they're processing 50,000 of them.
