Re: Possible Iron Whiplash?

it says they are making it 50% diecast 50% plastic because it is harder to make details on metal and it is also less articulated than plastic.

Iron Whiplash? according to that picture it will be plastic, because it is highly detailed, something like that.

Soooooo, is it full plastic or half die cast and half plastic?

it also says that they are going to remake mark 3 and mark 4 in diecast, you mad?

I'm not sure why that news would upset me.

Re: Possible Iron Whiplash?

It looks amazing as far as the details goes. I feel like it's a exact replica of the 3D model with all the tiny details it has. Here's hoping it actually looks like that once it comes out. Can see this costing $350/400

Re: Possible Iron Whiplash?

I hope we get a extra head sculpt like the IRON MONGER in that way we can make a extra figure.
:)

Re: Possible Iron Whiplash?

This armor didn't get a lot of screen time, so I'm fuzzy on the details, but from those proto pics it looks like we'll be able to see Vanko underneath parts of the suit like the Mark I. Does anyone know if this is the case?

Awesome news. Will pre-order a Mark IV the second it's up.

From what I understand, Iron Whiplash is 100% plastic. Would be too expensive (and maybe heavy) if they made it die-cast, I think.

Wow, that's impressive. I was gonna try and skip it because I didn't care for the movie, but that looks amazing. Would look pretty epic paired-up with Iron Monger for display, too.

Could be wrong but if I remember correctly, he was 100% covered in that final scene (save for opening his face plate).

Sold.

Looks amazing.

Just noticed the clear tubing running down the whips. I have a feeling this one is going to light up. Awesome.

Re: Possible Iron Whiplash?

Yeah, that's my hope, too. Really looks spectacular. Gotta love Hot Toys for releases like this. There's just not another company that comes close to being able to produce these complex figures.

Re: Possible Iron Whiplash?

I wonder when they'll announce/release this. Seeing as the Mark 42 is already slated for Feb next year, we won't see this guys until next year June probably.

Agreed. I have a hunch his whips are going to light up which will be the icing on the cake for this one! So SOLD! :exactly:

Re: Possible Iron Whiplash?

Definitely. Just blown away by the design and detail on that sculpt. Surprised this thread hasn't exploded since those pictures were posted, honestly.

Feels good seeing an end in sight for me and the Iron Man line, too. This and Iron Monger are the only two villains I think I'll need from the franchise, then add die-cast Mark IV as my definitive Iron Man (along with MILK WM which I already own) and I'm done with the stuff I consider essential (Heartbreaker is still a possibility, too, but then that's it! :lol).

Re: Possible Iron Whiplash?

Loki
Mark 3 Diecast
Mark VII
Mark VII BD
