Iron Man is a classic right outta the box, Batman already showed what it could be with Begins and just like Superman Returns it felt lacking. I still prefer Burton's Batman films over the Nolan ones. I have no doubt that Dark Knight will be good, but to me Iron Man will still be better.

You still prefer Burton's Batman films over the Nolan one (singular, not plural, unless you've managed to see Dark Knight already, somehow).

And at this point, who knows if TDK will end up better than Iron Man. Anything we say about it now is just conjecture.

BB doesn't come close to IM IMO. Well maybe the first half of it, but the 2nd half was mostly downhill.

Iron Man is easily the best that Marvel has made, but I wouldn't rank it above Begins. I'd also have to impose your sentiments about Begins on to Iron Man. In particular the awful final battle. It ranks right up there with The Hulk fighting a lake.
