Is this the flea market version?
Looks like DC/WB seems to have gone back on that "no guns" nonsense as well. Its so weird honestly, I think WB must have gone back on their word about the $1k minimum
I don’t think Inart would make a 2 pack / 4 pack unless they really had to, to justify the price point
All their other figures have stand alone options so I don’t see why it would be different for Joker unless they had to do it. They definitely knew they would have sold a lot more units if they sold him in his red suit separately
Hot Toys seem to have way too much influence
Agreed. What a boring expression. I’m tired of all these hideously “vacant” Joker figures. Give him a damn grin.
Yep. This isn't worth the Artisan price point or limited SS get-in-line hassle. This whole thing is very bland and later than Nick Cannon's main squeeze. It looks kinda third party , there is something off with the whole thing.
I’d be curious to see the production sculpts on each one. Sadly I doubt both of them will look anything near the prototypes.Given Hot Toys are on a roll in making improvements with the final production version over the prototypes recently, curious how this one will end up looking. Unlikely it'll still reach Inart level though.
Honestly, maybe it's best that that they stayed conservative here. Their idea of stepping outside the box is putting Joachim's head on a Batman body and painting it with graffiti. Or possibly putting him in an Iron Man or Deadpool suit. The sculpt does look significantly more toysih than InArt's proto. HT had a chance to really give the people what they were clammering for by including a damaged jacket and riot scene blood-smile sculpt in a delue package- but no, they just did what's already been done, as usual.
No way for us to ever really no but it never seemed legit to me. Again I could be wrong and really have no idea but for me, always was a lie.It wasn’t. Most likely lifted recently at WB
With all their past nonsense I thought that was Deadpool as Vader.Honestly, maybe it's best that that they stayed conservative here. From the first photo at a distance, on my phone, I honestly thought the same thing. With all their past nonsense I thought that was Deadpool as Vader.
