I contacted Hot Toys recently about T-800, and they told me that they now only offer exchanges and replacements for figures bought through official channels (Sideshow in the U.S.).

Uff, thats a tuff statement frm Hot Toys... I have altrady contacted Alter Ego and he told me he will contact his seller about a replacement jacket. Thats what I call customer service. Have been annoyed before but this makes everything fine again. A really good seller is recognized by purchases without issues but when problems appear and how they handle them. Respect to Alter Ego for now!

I figured as much!The reason i ask is cause i went on EBAY today and it seems that the majority of sellers that i talked to are selling out the jacket because most of the customers are buying it for a T-800 bash.I just don't get it?! ~_^

wont fit arnies body. GR's jacket hangs and fits well on my narrow TT. even with a TTA you'd struggle with the fit, i'm willing to bet my left nut...it will be a betch to put on, and may hulk rip it instead.

Torn jacket.
Is the issue with the jacket around the shoulder? Looks like mine is pulling apart?

Also, how do you get ahold of Hot Toys Exchanges department? I tried the link on there web site but never get a response.

the leather suit is kinda fragile. had to tape the jacket's cuffs when putting the gauntlets back on, no matter how you heat the gauntlets they crumple and rip that jacket sleeves if you're not careful.

*the jacket is well crafted, it is styled with zipper sleeves on both forearms(beneath those gauntlets) putting them back on is...hard.

Yeah, trying to change out the hands without wrinkling up the jacket a bit was a very difficult task for me.

you could imagine what i went through dressing up a nude narrowTT.

case of 'curiosity killed the cat' just happened to me. I was checking to see any splits or tears in the jacket and in doing so I removed one of the gauntlets. Underneath was fine (althought a little ruffled) but getting it back on was really difficult. I'm surprised I didn't rip it in the process using a method of hot water, tape and tweesers it's almost back to normal althought a little more creased.

If the jacket can survive that I don't understand how it will just rip on it's own from being bunched up a little bit.

You guys are getting me nervious with all this talk! I won't even have mine in hand till next week and now I'm starting to get worried about issues with the jacket.
