That's weird cuz CSC charged full payment for Hawkeye and Nick Fury months before they were shipped and they're in CA :dunno

Does anybody know whether or not the Hall or Armors backdrop comes with him? It's in all of the photos so I am hoping it's a cardboard back drop included. Any confirmation?

this is the one thing that drives me nuts with HT, for some reason when it comes to backdrops they're never clear, they surprised us with the DX11, I don't understand why they can't put on the product description whether the backdrop is included in it.

Just from the sear size of the backdrop used in the promo pics my guess is they won't include it, espeically with the Hall of Armor coming out as a sperate display piece

That's my order that I cancelled. I asked him to prove if he can guarantee that he will ship it out and he didn't say anything at all. I asked him for a refund and he gave it to me.

It's very risky. eBay does not cover your purchase after 30 days and Paypal doesn't either. I ordered it from SSC with the $25 coupon for Flexpay. I rather not risk it with a eBay preorder with no guarantee.

I'm glad you brought this to my attention, why wouldn't Ebay cover you if you've paid in full? the whole 30 days thing makes no sense

I would asume the guy is legit considering his feedback but if August came and he didn't send me anything, there's nothing I could do about it?

Nope. You could pay in full. It doesn't matter. EBay doesn't cover your purchase after 30 days. You can't do a resolution center after 30 days and Paypal doesn't help you after 45 days.
eBay has a strict rule that you can't sell pre-orders past 30 days of the day the auction ends, as in the release date of the product has to be within the 30 days you post the auction.

This figure is a good FIVE months away. Too risky for my taste.

So say he doesn't ship it. You basically lost $220 and out of luck. At this point he doesn't have to ship it if he doesn't want too after the 30 days past.

It can be a great deal but I rather not risk it and just pay a bit more for security. Been scammed out of a preorder before on eBay and it sucks because you basically gave the seller free money.

Also, what I found odd was when I asked him for a refund he told me to give him a day to get the funds in his account back. How is he putting an order for these if he's spending the money the moment I send them?

It's up to you as a buyer. Deals too good to be true hardly ever turn up good. I'm happy with spending $55 for 4 months to pay it off.

I asked him if he can tell me his dealer, because as a collector, I asked him how he can get this figure for so cheap and he just told me he had a market that sold them to him. How is it possible to sell this figure for $220 shipped? He loses like $40 in fees alone and $15 for him to ship it to you later on. It just sounds too fishy for my taste. Very lucky if it does turn out good though.
He said this to me when he first listed the item up:
"Ok. The figure is confirmed thru Sideshow we are good.
LInk is here...it is listed:"

Uh..What..? :dunno

I would touch that with a ten foot pole, just sounds too good to be true to me.

yea I got a refund, in the end its just not worth the risk to save a few bucks, I'm glad it was brought to my attention about the whole 30 day thing, I'm still kinda new when it comes to Ebay and all its ******* policies

feel much safer getting this from SSC and the 25 bucks off helps

Glad you switched over! :hi5: Happy to help :) Be careful with pre-orders. They're fine as long as the release date is within the 30 days of the auction itself.
He actually took down the listing too. Way too fishy indeed.

Is it just me or didn't this figure used to show a May release? It says August now.

Not that I saw any way that it would be out in May, but I thought it did?

Or am I thinking of the PPS, which does say May?

Mark VII comes out in may, where tony has been scheduled for august since his announcement

Since this will be my last Ironman figure before Hot Toys takes the line Die-cast ("BIG MISTAKE") I'll almost be glad, but still a little sad.
