The more pictures I see of him the worse he looks....if that's even possible ...what happened between here and SDCC???...not that he look that good at SDCC either.

Face still looks hideous. It actually looks more like a Howard the Duck figure, when you add the beak it's dead on

You mean it's worst than the one above? I hope we get another new and improved Chewbacca after this one from HT down the road. I thought they'd have more trouble with the hair but it looks good to me, even on the head. The snout sculpt/shape shouldn't have been this hard to do.

I think (hope) he meant that he saw a worse picture, and didn't post it, but someone else did.

I'm still getting it. However hope they keep working on them. I'm also sure there are some folks who will be modding these or there maybe something will show up in the secondary. Regardless I'll still be happier to have a haired Chewbacca than a plastic one. Cockpit does look cool. I wonder if they will actually sell the Millennium Falcons or they will just be for show. Sure they'd run the price of a mid-sized car not to mention shipping. Unfortunately I have nowhere near the display space... yet.

Yes and no. No one else has posted (here) the hideous image I saw on FB. If you think his jaw has looked bad in any image you've seen here in the thread, you ain't seen nothing.

I'm sure someone here (like Matrix perhaps) will be able to mod this into the perfect Chewbacca, but until I see how it's possible I'm not going anywhere near it.

Found it.



The issue is compounded by lighting which makes his nose blend into the fur for a really creepy look. I'm not removing this figure from my wanted list, even if so many of the photos make him look odd. Keeping fingers crossed he futzes well.
