Well, HT did announce they are doing a Chewie (along with Han) from TFA. However, I'd guess it's probably the existing ANH Chewie in that picture.

I wouldn't think so. It's basically just producing more of the same figure, not a 2.0 version.

Very nice job on your Chewie, including the futzing of the fur! Did you use acrylic paint and did you apply the streaks to all over the body, not just the face?

Thanks. I painted the fur lighter on the head. I do want to go back and darken the top of the forehead a bit. I also repainted the lips.

As for the fur, I loosened it quite a bit before futzing.

Yes, there are some amazing pics in this thread of several people doing just that. Chewie looks better as an "ESB" or "RotJ" version.
