And it will really be amazing if what ships looks anything close to that.

It does look impressive...but it's a long way from a perfectly coiffed prototype to the mass-manufactured figure we'll hopefully see in several months time.
Here's hoping they pull it off...would love to have something that ends up looking this good after production....

Yep. This is something many thought no 1/6 production company would touch and now here it is. A haired, not sculpted, Chewie. And as it is it's better than I had expected. Bring it. I can't wait. Looks amazing.

I never would have imagine a haired Chewbacca would be made.... Never in a million years. This whole thing came as a shock. I preordered the second it went up.

You've really got to wonder - how on earth are they going to deliver these figures with the fur looking decently presented?

I can't think of another figure that has greater challenges to deliver something that out of the box looks right.

I look forward to this I'm getting the droids and chewie it's like Christmas/Hanukkah, and yule but months latter lol. Sadly gotta pay but at least ill like what i get. I got my Han head from wgp the 2.0 gotta say best likeness i seen. this one is close but it is a young Harrison. I think it's the hair color if you watch movies he has a chocolatey look. Ill post pics comp and thoughts on han's page since this is for chewie

We all have to remember to stick with the protocol. When OMG and others release the first production picts (months from now) we all must say “It looks like ****”. Then after when Clipper King and crew release a video review, we all say “It actual not that bad”. And then when we have it in our little hands….”BEST FIGURE EVER”!!!

Remember we all stick to this code!! The first rule about collecting…….”There is no collecting”!!

I just hope this figure can stand the test of time. I'd hate to have a the leaky oil Batman situation again , ( not that there are any rubber parts that we know of on this figure, but you know what I mean). This is "uncharted 1/6" territory and would hate to have a bald Chewbacca figure in after two years. Or somethings along those lines.

the fur suit from what I understand is fur on fabric. If that is the case it will stand the test of time just like any stuffed animal.

I didn´t see this on the forum, but there's a set, with a bonus heavy blaster
and the ssc exclusive stormtrooper belt and blaster

Is everyone sarcastic or just really didn't know? I was so glad about this set because it gets imported, so I finally can get an EX version right at my local shop!

XDDD
Ok ok, you know it, but the preorder of my local dealer opened today, so for me it was great news because, as SithThundercracker says, I can get the exclusive accesories without evilbay in the way. :hi5:

Awesome, I can imagine that feels like a good break, when one factors in e.Bay, shipping and duties. Congrats, Rodan!
