Yeah thats why i never panic , hk bloggers and their flood lights are sometimes just as bad as flash. Im telling ya in a detolf under dioders its like a mini guinness.

Something still seems off... but it's certainly better than the original images of the figure. I think it's still the best Kenobi we've gotten and probably ever will get. I just wish the likeness was a bit stronger; or to be fair that it was a closer match to my own expectations

I'll definitely post a few side-by-sides with a repainted Sideshow head... and my guess is in hand I'll still prefer the Sideshow likeness, but the quality and scale of the new head will carry it onto victory.

It passes the man in robes test for sure. The shadows hide the imperfections on the sculpt. The sunken squint of his agressive stare is hidden in those photos making the good parts of the sculpt stand out.

Those pics from SV are a good representation of how the figure will look on the shelf. All of the macro shots are really going to bring out and accentuate the parts of the sculpt that is off obviously. That turtleneck is still abhorrent and the stitching is just bad. They could have done better on that and the thickness of the robes.

Thanks for the pics though stealth they are making the figure look much more pleasing.

Its still a bad sculpt, any fully lit photo is going to expose that headsculpt for what it is. Half his head is shadowed out in the pics as will Para's wait and see.

How do you non US collectors stay in the game? $220US converts to $292 CAN (plus tax) if buying from local stores. Are you guys paying $300 for figures now?
This is a great looking figure but price has removed all sense of desire.

Only in the game for two pieces right now: Chewbacca (unique to collections) and Batman Returns (don't own a Batman and have been waiting since 2012)

$76,550 Canadian dollars equals $57,760.51 US dollars with today's exchange. I think you guys are doing okay up there.

I find the main problem is duty and/or tax. I'm in Toronto. If I order from SSC, or somewhere else in the states, I end up getting hit with a @$40 duty, on top of the $30 shipping. If I buy local, I get hit with 13% tax, which for these figures is close to $30. Some locals will waive the tax if I pay cash, so that helps sometimes, but it usually means that I can no longer get any of the Exclusive versions of figures.
Oh well, the price you pay for collecting!

Really happy to see how all of these HT ANH figures are looking in-hand. Very glad I pre-ordered them. From a foot away, and beside the others, this sculpt will look good (in my opinion)...

I actually think Zoo (Nuts is gone) makes its girls look very very generic. Beside the point of course.
