Woah, the coming months!!?? Hopefully that was a typo and they meant "within the coming month." Either way, wish I had kept my order for the two-pack instead of the singles and decided to place it on flex at some point. :lol

I emailed SS today about the 2-pack here is the response:

Thank you so much for contacting us! The orders for HAN SOLO AND CHEWBACCA that have shipped out were for customers that had their orders placed with a flex-payment plan, and were offered to have their final payment processed early when we received a limited shipment.

We are expecting our next shipment of HAN AND CHEWIE within the coming months, at which point you will receive a processing notification. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

"Within the coming months" is a bit depressing!

Out of chewie fur, or are we still blaming problems at the ports? Seems to me first order in, first order out would be the way to go.

The problem is that some of the first "orders" may not have paid anything up front, meanwhile some of the later orders were awaiting the last small Flex to complete payment in full. No matter what, someone was going to be upset when there isn't enough stock to fulfill all the orders at the same time.

I don't have any problem with the strategy of first filling pre-paid orders, then those that haven't yet paid anything (or NRD only) - for me, money talks, and an unpaid pre-order is a "when we get around to it" kind of thing.

The problem I have with this is they have set the precedent that full pay ships first. Now they reverse that, of course it will piss people off. If weanie-ing out payments bumped you to the front of the line everybody would do it. I don't think SS wants that nightmare.

Do you actually mean full pay or no-pay? To me, FULL PAY means someone who pre-paid the entire thing up front. No balance owing. No-Pay being someone who pre-order with or without an NRD but paid nothing else - their payment only happens when the item ships - this last group should always get serviced after the previous and Flex payers that have already paid. Flex payers who don't start payments until the item is in stock don't need to be included here.

It's easier to just think of orders as PAID and UNPAID, and hopefully PAID orders get filled first.

True full pay as I understand it can only be accomplished through PayPal. And yes I would give that first priority. But I think most people on this board refer to full pay as paying the nrd up front, then paying the balance in full upon shipment of the figure. To my knowledge, those orders almost always ship first. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No matter what it sounds like they got a tiny batch and people would have been annoyed no matter which customers they sent them out to first, as tons of orders still wouldn't be fulfilled.
I don't think this one instance is going to make everyone start flex paying everything.

I think Sideshow will survive this. :)
Given the small shipment there's nothing SS could have done to produce a consistent result in this case other than sit on the figures until the rest came in.
I know you're pretty anti-flex pay for some reason but I think we can let them have this one.

Seems like it happens occasionally. Sometimes flex ships 1st and sometimes pay when shipped ships 1st. I have been in the later shipments on flex and pay when shipped. Never cared much as long as get my order i'm happy. I wanted several months i can wait a couple more weeks.

Just found this new review on YouTube...

not sure I agree with all he says but I like being able have a look at the figure in more video.
