It's a great looking iconic figure. Really captures the essence of ANH! Very happy to have this in my collection. I don't like handling them that much so when I find a pose I usually leave it

Well done on all accounts. :yess:

On christmas day I finally opened my gift (just the box). Days after I had time to play around with the pose. I sold my ROTS OBI for $100 and used the proceeds to purchase this with the $50 coupon and free shipping.

My hype for this figure began to dwindle as I looked at different things over the last few weeks, but after seeing your pics, it's back up at max. It looks stellar out of the box. Great Pics!

To me, it kind of seems like a mix between Guinness and an aged McGregor, which I actually love more than just a straight Guinness. I postponed my flex payment a month, so now I won't have Old Ben until April, but that's ok. He will join Vader soon enough.

Bo, first off great pose and pics. Just curious if you're using the light up arm or if that's one of the regular hands and loose saber hilt?

It's one of my favorite figures from the SW line and is one of those rare figures that are display-ready straight from the box.

I can't even recall any mods people have done, with the exception of adding a little color to the beard.

Boots and belt are some of Hot Toys best. I think my favorite part of the figure is the hands. Brilliant sculpt work for such small pieces.

Thank you for your comment. I am using the a regular hand and the regular hilt (non removable ). I have been thinking about trying the light up but like what I have right now. The only "mod" I did was iron the cloak not directly but I placed a pillow case over the cloak and ironed it out.

I had no intention to purchase this figure at initial reveal and up until release. Even when it was available on SS. I think the $50 off and free shipping ($170) brought it to a price point I was comfortable with paying (under $200US) which converted to $220 CAN as opposed to over $300CAN!! So overall I am very happy with this purchase on both fronts (price and look).

I didn't either! I used the $50 off for Maul to make it reasonable and then used a $25 off for Ben. I was convinced after going through this thread. With free shipping, it ended up being $195 out the door! Can't complain at all. And this is likely the last Ben figure we'll see for a long time too. Had to have him.

Thread inspired me to do something more interesting than the neutral pose I had him in.

Batteries are dead in everything I have tho.

Bo, I swear I've got that carpet!

Love the pose, simple but effective. Ben walking through the Death Star corridors to his destiny.
