something called Force Valor.

Was that on the back of a Pokemon card?

Yes he did. He was heavily involved in a few key story arcs throughout the show.

Citation please. He's credited as "original characters" and executive producer only officially. We're still talking about "THE Clone Wars" series right? 3D computer animated, from 2008, and not the cell animated show from 2003.

Here's a gem from an interview in 2008, kind of related to this whole "George thought of everything" BS

Do you think you'd have other people continue the Star Wars saga past Episode VI or turn some of the other material into films?

But there's no story past Episode VI, there's just no story. It's a certain story about Anakin Skywalker and once Anakin Skywalker dies, that's kind of the end of the story. There is no story about Luke Skywalker, I mean apart from the books. But there's three worlds: There's my world that I made up, there's the licensing world that's the books, the comics, all that kind of stuff, the games, which is their world, and then there's the fans' world, which is also very rich in imagination, but they don't always mesh. All I'm in charge of is my world. I can't be in charge of those other people's world, because I can't keep up with it.

Someone on here posted old Flash Gordon crawls that are near identical. He was going for that old pulp sci-fi soap opera in space vibe and he went all in on Empire/Jedi....

It was fun watching the Flash Gordon serials, looking for the influences that found their way into the Star Wars (and Indiana Jones) series.

As you said, he went all in on Empire....

When was that ever in any of the films? :huh

Does not really need to be, just an explanation.

Sounds like role-playing card game shenanigans to me. For cosplayers justifications.

Tis true... *sigh*

IMDB has him listed as writer/executive producer on most. It will sound stupid, but in the episodes his name appeared first in are the ones rumored he had an involvement in, just a rumor though.... could go either way...

As far as him having involvement in EVERYTHING... that is just stupid to think.

So... which world does everyone live in?

I am in the licensing world :lol

:rotfl

As an EU skeptic, it does for me. But each to his own :duff

There are some good EU stories. Have you ever read anything?

Just "created by" or "characters by" - no writing credits for any single episode at all.

As I said, rumors say he had a part in the show, I like to think he did.

A few things here and there. They weren't that bad. Maybe I haven't read the really good stuff, but I don't have the time or will, really. They don't effect my perception of the movies, and as a rule I dislike it when stuff is made up years later to compensate for poor writing in a film.

Majority of books and some comics take place past the movies.... going all the way through to Luke's Son (Ben) possible grandson.... :lol They are good stories though.

I've read lots of good EU novels. They seemed to take off in a big way after Shadows of the Empire. But my favourites are still the original Han Solo (1979-80) and Lando (1983) trilogies.
