Just got mine in the mail from Clot_Master, THANK YOU CLOT! Images online don't do this figure proper justice. Yeah I paid a premium to get this figure early, but totally worth it, from the beautiful packaging, actual size joker cards, to all the accessories, this is the ultimate Joker figure!

Granted, the Joker sculpt doesn't look as good as the BR Joker, but it does make up with the excellent tailoring and attention to detail, especially on the inside of his coat. Not to mention you get the Police Joker, which also another great figure. I can't recommend this figure enough, aside from my wife, i think i love this more than anything! Thank You Hot Toys!

I'll try but it's more trick of the eye because of the show that the head eye socket casts making the iris looking like a shadow.

Yeah I guessed that much all right but at the minute I'll do anything for more pics of this figure! I honestly got back into collecting after seeing this, like 5 days ago!! I hadn't bought a fig in 4 years and had totally lost interest, mainly because I hadn't seen anything lifelike or really attention grabbing. But purely by chance I happened on a pic of this and that was that. This ones on the way and I've just ordered the t - 600 skin version :) expensive but worth it. Maybe this should be in a different thread but i have to say hot toys are unbelievable, I'm even surprised by the figures I'm going for. I'm not and never have been an Iron Man fan but I love the Mk III and Mk I figs, the T-600 and the first John Connor, there have been figs of this type before but never had any interest and now I can't wait to get my grubby hands on all of the above

But I digest... :)

It's been a weird night I've had a bit to drink...

Don't worry as I will post all I know when I know :D
But I am waiting for him to be back to talk to him bout the BR Joker :p If I can resist that long!
Yes the wait is so painful I may just need to get the BR one afterall and not just for the mask and gun and head sculp

If you like the disguise enough, it's a really nice figure, but I think overall, you have to really enjoy the entire performance of Ledger and all the various disguises to enjoy the Cop and BR figures.

Whats your condition called?

Actually, I have no idea. It isn't "serious" enough to have made me go see a doctor about it - all I have to do is avoid velvet and I'm fine.

I do know it's genetic, though, as my mother has the same thing.

If I touch velvet, it won't kill me or anything - usually I'll react instantly and jerk my hand back, while the muscles in my body all kind of shiver at once for a second. But then I'm not touching it anymore, so I become fine again. It does mean that I wouldn't be able to touch, hold, pose, or play with any action figure wearing velvet, though.

I once saw a nice armchair made out of velvet. If I had sat in that, I'm pretty sure I'd have had seizures, as I'd be trapped in the velvet, unable to move to get out, making me feel it continually, without stop...

Put on rubber gloves. You know the disposable surgical type. That you would use to change halogen bulbs.

:google Yeah you'd need to be a mega-fan to have bought all the HT Joker figures (as well as customize a nurse Joker). Well, unless you're a completist. I okay with not owning all of HT's TDK line.

haha
I loved the movie to a point where it is my #1 movie of all times
Ledger's performance was amazing so was everyone else. I still can't believe that it is him under all that

Thats where I draw the line. No men in dresses.

Same here, it was a funny gag but it wasn't an interesting look, I did find the Bank Robber and honor guard costumes/looks to be interesting visually though, the honor guard mostly for how creepy his eyes looked, and the BR, the whole setup looks cool.

My only two favourite parts from that nurse scene was when he said "Hi" in that long creepy way and once he walked out of the building down the road. Just the body language like so many other scenes. As if "hmmmph".

I enjoyed the whole nurse segment, the first shot when he turns around and shoots the cop was nice as far as the framing of the shot and the zoom and all, I loved his whole speech screwing with Dent's head, granted the nurse thing wasn't prominent while messing with Dent. The walking out is just all great, it really furthers how dimented he is, washing his hands with the sanitizer, his goofy walk, playing with the detonator when the explosion doesn't go off.

Agreed. Iunno it's just frustrating because HT did everything right as far as the hard part with the costume: Tailoring. I haven't seen any complaints about the DX Costume as far as tailoring minus people thinking the pants are too tight. But in reality the pants are only tight in comparison with the v1 pants. Because the Joker's pants in TDK were pretty damn tight. :lol

HT just made bad fabric color choices. And that's what sucks. Because you'd think THAT would be easy and nailing the tailoring would be difficult. And it's not for lack of reference material because HT had more than enough including stuff from us.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with blakus939.

Thanks, yeah it wasn't from lack of anything, other than them just being lazy lol.
I think the LEDs will work cooler for Batman than Joker, in my photography, I found lighting from below to usually be less flattering on Joker's face, Batman, if positions right can just cast some nice highlights on the shapes of the cowl.

Absolutely! Overhead lighting really brings the joker sculpt to life, whereas you said, Batman benefits from the opposite. They cast upwards on the cowl and along the ears. Very cool look.
Btw, not sure if i've said it before, but with the DX pants, i actually prefer the originals. I like the muted pinstripes, and the slightly baggier look. The DX look a bit on the tight side, but now i know the suspenders arent adjustable, may just be a case of them riding up too high lol

Heya guys should have a video review of this guy up by the weekend as long as nothing gets in the way again (work, family commitments...i mean come on) just phenomenal, one major issue that i never really noticed until now is that the bank robber joker's head is extremely large in comparison to this and indeed the other batman line's head sculpts. But this piece is a thing of beauty, especially all lit up on the dx base, now that is a nice touch.....but you'll see all that and more in my review.

I am tempted to remove the grenade rig from the inside of the coat. Box fresh the coat sat lovely and flat but once u put the grenades in then remove them it never quite goes back to how it was -it sticks out. Hmmm.

I would hope they'd make another Joker.(Nurse Version)For starters,I want a Joker with an open mouth.HT has made 3 so far,2 of them with alternate heads, and not one of them has had an open mouth.I also want a removable hairpiece that can be switched out with some upside down "flowing" hair.Better yet,DX it as final battle Joker, throw a nurse Joker,3 rots, and a crowbar in there, along with PERS,and the hairpieces and voila,I know I'd buy it,this is mob scene Joker,I want one that I can display with DX Batman, and would love to get some hefty wire or rope and suspend him from a ceiling(make a good dio)
