I'm deciding on whether to go through SSC or an authorized dealer. There seem like there are so many small parts and pieces that could essentially break, I might want to pay the tax just to make sure I can get the quick customer service...

You need to take a business course to figure out money talks?

Is that supposed to be a question? Do you have any idea of what you're talking about? No $#|+ money talks!!! My point exactly. We the customers have the money and HT would listen if knowone purchased it. You need to go to school and take any class you can. Specifically reading comprehension.

I'm still on the fence with this one. It's over priced in my eyes. I know there's a lot of engineering that was put into this but I don't think it should cost that much more than the figures themselves. $280 was my max and even that was pushing it a bit.

For $350 it better have some ridonculous detailing, articulation and not feel like it's going to break every time I touch it. If HT feels like it needs to charge us a high price then we better get some high quality stuff.

I'm really waffling on this too, not necessarily with the price as I've come to grips with that but more with the fact there are so many things set to come out over the next six months:

-Joker PF
-Black Suited Spider-Man
-Nicholson Joker
-Keaton Bats
-Captain America
-Iron Man Stealth
-Boba Fett
-HT Luke

Even having missed out on the Mark IV the first time around I'm not sure I'm willing to bypass so much for the cost of this. Theoretically this is the cost of 2 HT figure maybe 3 depending on which and while impressive I'm not sure this trumps that...

This set definitely just SCREAMS BAD A5$ in someone's display cabinet! Problem is, will anyone have room for it, especially with all the other HT/SSC toys coming out just this year alone?!

:goodpost::exactly:

5 robot arms + 1 base for $360 is insane, unless the arms are made of adamantium and the base is made of imported marble. I'm guessing we'll get the same quality, fragile robot arms that we saw with Mech Test Tony and another plastic base though. :dunno

Yeah, that would be my guess.
Forget about any diecast metal parts or solid filled plastic.
HT will maximize their profits, so hollow plastic parts makes more sense from their perspective.

It's kind of sad when a Buzz Lightyear toy feels heavier than an HT Iron Man figure.

its too bad this is at such an unreasonable price. would have loved to have it. but its simply not worth the price. my desire for it is worth the price. but im positive materials, and HT cost in no way dictates the high price tag on this. they are just charging this number because they can.
