Figure looks pretty good there, although it could definitely use a bit more gray in the hair to give him that more seasoned look he had.

And they didn't really sculpt the goatee that accurately either. It had a much more odd and distinct shape to it, but they made it look like just a regular goatee.

After the IW Cap thing where the mouth didn't seem to line up, or something - like what I'm seeing. Liam Neeson.

Ordered from SSC - had a new coupon so that will cover shipping. He will display great with SSC Obi-Wan. Mostly getting SW Mando but always liked this character,
and the weathered look will go well with Obi-Wan.

"If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have galactic credits But what I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long Jedi training career, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let the boy go now, that'll be the end of it..."

How does he afford every figure?
He hasn?t missed one release.
Does he get them for free?
What does he do for work he?s always making videos.

I think he gets a deal with toys wonderland, like half off price or a good discount price for being a sponsor.

You don't need to know...

My only minor complaint of Justin is he's got all these figures stuffed in tightly in his display cabinets.
His recent one showing his collection had about 8 figures crammed in with some half hidden at the back of the shelf.
For HT prices I'd want them front and centre, not rammed together like a 3.75" collection.

I appreciate what Justin is doing for the 1/6 community. His channel has become a staple for new releases posting video’s just days after figure release to cater to our curiosity. Years ago he appeared on the scene as other “staple” reviewers faded away and I feel has done a great job since. My biggest fear for Justin is that one day he too might decide to hang up the towel. I fear that when that day comes he will look at his vast 1/6 collection and say “OMG what did I spend all my money on”!! But until that day I hope he keeps doing what he’s doing and a big “Thank you” for all his efforts.

Why does that matter though? It's his collection.

He will be ok, as others stated he most likely gets a marketing kickback from TW to drive business. The OMG is going to come when he wants to start selling figures and has to manage all the boxes and things gathering up all the bits he put away in separate containers and pulling the figures back together to sell.

I have a much larger collection than he does and let me tell you, keeping up with the boxes and storage that is the worst part.

He does pay for them, just not sure if it's full pop.

His videos are standardized, right down to the script so I imagine that speeds up the process along with repetition. He probably makes decent coin off all his YT views although I have no idea how much, and from what I can tell he was doing all right well before this, given he was like...an automobile guy of some kind. Cars aren't cheap. ;)

At any rate, he does a consistent and professional job, and his videos don't have any dead air or humm-ing and haw-ing. There are other reviewers that do this stream of consciousness thing where they kinda wing it and rattle on and it's excruciating. :lol

I'm thankful the technology more than anything has improved with figure reviews. I can always mute a reviewer, its nice to see what the product should most likely look like in hand with 4k and now 8K quality videos.

The production value of reviewers has most definitely gone up in recent years, I appreciate their efforts and it is a fun thing to spend time watching being an enthusiast in the hobby.

Justin and MRCollection have become the go to people for the quickest reviews of the latest releases.
ToysTV seemed to have stopped their Hot Toys figure reviews, they were the quickest YouTubers before.

Figures are too expensive to have a HT channel. I have not purchased a HT this year with my last two being Dooku and Maul in late 2019
