I don't know if you guys missed it, but on page 5 of this thread, some magazine scans were posted with a block of chinese text that was translated the page after. It read that underneath the figure's spider suit is a tighter fabric suit worn on the TT body to help hide the obvious joints. I feel that the suit would be tight enough that patterns shifting around won't be an issue.

I saw that, and that may help keep the suit in place, but we don't know how well. If the suit doesn't move at all on the body as it is, then I would agree that a shaded suit would be a nice alternative. But I don't think it would work out well in practice. The Spider on his chest may not move much, but other parts of the suit containing shadows (since they would be near areas that will experience stress when he's posed) probably would.

Don't forget to factor in the value of Pile of Loot and no cancellation fees. Worth more than $10 for that IMO to get it from BBTS.

BBTS, Sideshow, or Viking Playground only for pre-orders for me. They charge when they ship, and don't penalize you for cancellations (though Viking does frown on it)

I didn't know Viking didn't have a cancellation fee. I go through BBTS for a lot of my stuff as well, but if I get antsy about having something quick, I'll by it from Alter Ego when it comes in stock and cancel my BBTS order.

That means most likely he will be available from Asian sellers around May/June. The Mark IV is gonna be out next month from Sideshow and I have GR on Flex and he's due in Feb I believe. So not much difference.
