I think HT could have taken the next step and put magnetic plates on Spidey's ass and back. Would look cool in my display case, which has some metal on its backing.

ass n back yes. palms no, i dont think. and that's where it counts most. the wrist joints by themselves will not support the weight of the body for long.

just a stand to hover the figure ala mech test tony would be nice.

I usually don't buy the 1st version if there might be a DX down the road

how do you know there might be? i still haven't seen any indication that the DX line is for redoing MMS figures better. only half the line so far has been like that. i think even for HT, having that as the DX line's purpose is just bad business.

What is with everyone wanting the "dx version"? ..if you keep thinking like this you will miss out on some awesome figures!

You can blame Hot Toys for that.

They released the V1 Joker figure, and once it was sold out they announced the bank robber joker figure, and once that was sold out, they announced a DX Joker figure which basically trumped everything else.

They released a Batman Dark Knight figure, and once it was sold out, they announced a DX version which kicked the old figure (6 months old mind you) out to the curb.

....and i don't think we will be seeing figures as bad as v1 joker anymore so they would need to do a new version as hot toys have improved since then, but i do know that was due to it being made before the films release.

Dx should be for Iconic figures that would benifit from pers, spiderman?..he has a mask so that would be a waste and New goblin harry? ..he is cool but not iconic enough imo and he also has a type of mask.

Bad Mj- Some of you may be sick of mj figures ..but thats an iconic look and pers suited him very well when you look back on the music video.

Is the toyworld shop really that hard for Hot Toys to do? Almost all the changes are paint apps, not altering of the sculpt or really adding anything (i dont think they'd be able to do the muscle detail).

We don't have it yet ..so how would we know?

My guess would be no ..not with those plastic boots ..you could get close, but i'd imagine it wont look that good.

According to BBTS they are looking for a cheaper supplier, so the price will probably come down
They have also stated that all the orders at the previous price will be honored
