for me when I look at Thir I don't want to see Triple H.
I hear you. And I also like it when HT improves slightly on figures that can really use it (like V1 Joker or TDK Batman or even a Predator if one were forthcoming). But I am satisfied enough with what HT has already given us with the look of the existing figure, so I would prefer something different. Though I do like the sleeved Thor better than sleeveless. My interest in the new look is more about being interested in a new toy than a preference for a new look in the film.

Are you seriously saying that comic book characters are on the same level as that garbage wwe stuff??
Yes. I'm not saying wrestling is fine art, but I accept it for what it is. Grown men dressing up and pretending to fight each other while engaging in dramatic storytelling. Really no different than superhero movies in that sense. Sure, some pro 'rasslin is fairly embarrassing and worse than others. But the same goes for comic book movies.

I don't mind improvement. I've got all the Iron Man figures and the new Mark II coming. So that doesn't bother me at all. I'm not one of those collectors to be honest. The only thing I could see for me being an improvement would be an even better sculpt.

Just did a review of this guy for my site. Check it out here!

Here are a few pics!

I didn't buy THOR's figure and right now I'm happy to see I'll have a chance to get it :hi5:. I passed because I didn't like the "huge" helmet, the sculpt, the hair, the weakly arms/legs..... So hope they'll improve it:yess:

BTW: I like more without slevess :rotfl

I agree and passed on it for the same reasons. I can get past the helmet but the hair and the horribly skinny legs make me not regret passing on this version.

You're on your own with the hair, but some thigh inserts help with the legs imo.

I think this figure is awesome! I'm happy to have it. But maybe they will make improvements for the Avengers movie. This Thor could be like the original Mark III.

I got mine today from Capstone. I like it more than I thought I would. Can't wait for Cap and the eventual $300+ Hulk!

I read a description of the end-credit scene at the end of Captain America...it seems Thor was shown wearing something more closely related to his Ultimate get up. I'm not a big fan of his Ultimate's costume but if they include a cape I'll be happy. I just hope they don't go the whole WWF championship belt for the bottom two circles of his costume.

If we get chest armor more reminisent of his classic look..I'll definately be customizing Avenger's Thor into a more classic look. The sleeveless, and blue spandex pants that people are putting on this current Thor has me sold on the idea of it even more.

Just saw the leaked footage I was talking about....it was amazing!! I think I'm okay with the Ultimates style Thor now. Made me feel like the kid in my signature lol.

I've really gotta say that out of all the pictures on this thread and all over the net, the guy just isn't that photogenic. Which is such a shame because in hand he is a really, really nice figure.
