This is just my version of Thor that I'm sharing with those willing to look. It's my opinion that I would like to see Thor be bigger for my animated project, so I'm making the changes I feel capture the vision I would like to see.

And FYI the hair does not changed color with warm water.

Thanks for looking

:lol:lol:lol

Only having a laugh mate..

Hey AFM is there a way that you could push back Thor's hair behind his ears while you're styling it? I can tell this figure his a huge labor of love for you, keep doing what makes you happy brother.

That is a good suggestion, I just tried it and it was a no go. The hair line of the wig sits right on top of the ear so I can't go behind it. I appreciate the suggestion though. Thanks brother. I will be doing my best to keep the volume down as I don't like that look either.

Thanks again bro.

Does the hair change color with warm water?
I think it's a custom Malibu Thor.
:lol I'm being serious.

Not jokes? .....

Alrighty then :D

I had to do some work on the body using fix-it sculpt and took advantage to the rare times Thor's shirt was off. So I snapped some pics so the body could seen better. He's getting put back together today

The reason I'm doing the real hair vs the sculpted hair is the real hair gave my Thor much more articulation for his head. The sculpted hair was just too limiting for my animation

Thanks for looking.

You doing a stop motion (is that what it's called?) animation with your Thor figure? That sounds pretty cool.

Also, what body is that? The trapezius muscles on HT & EB bodies look too small for some customs I want to do. That body looks alright (if I cover it up with some clothing).

This new body from Kaustic Plastic is only $37.99 retail. I have been thinking about picking it up for a Thor bash. Not sure about the hight, but it looks to have extensions so it should work fairly well.

I've already ordered a couple of those & a couple of the African American Kaustic bodies :lol

I still think the trapezius muscle is a bit small for what I'm going for. I've even gone as far as searching for 12" & 13" inch wresting toys to see if there was a suitable body :lol

I did a mod on a T800 body for a comic Capt where I heated the rubber torso and inserted sculpted muscles underneath. Worked pretty well. Might be able to do something like that with the Kaustic.

It's a Maximum Aggression 1:6 Triple H body. You can get one pretty cheap on ebay. I think I paid under $20.00 for mine. There have been folks on OSW who have put the upper body on a HT True-Type lower torso. I think waist articulation though when the two are combined. That's way I went with the whole body. Of and is you want to see my Stop-motion work, go to www.youtube.com/actionfiguremovies

OMG:thud: that is amazing work. Truly remarkable. Just watched Ep1 and the attention to detail and storyline is great. Well Done AFM.

That sounds cool, but I'm not much of a modder at the moment :lol

Wow .....

Your stop motion is sweet. You sir have talent. I might not have guessed that the guy who created that "unique" :)lol) Thor figure, would be the same guy who created those videos. Good work sir :hi5:

Oh yeah, thanks for the info on the body :D
