some pics of my Thor with my new helmet. Sleeves have been painted a more silver tone. Forearm guards, thigh ring thing and armor pieces of the boots have been glossed. Thinking about adding the though enhancers

Action figure movies: No doubt your Thor isn't the coolest looking thing in most people's opinions, but after seeing that pic of Thor without the torso armour, I have to say it looks great. The armour might not fit your body, but a good T-shirt would make your fig look boss I reckon.

Yeah, I know my vision of Thor isn't the most popular, but I'm having so much fun working on him. I'm very satisfied with my results and I'm really looking forward to animating him with the other heroes. Just wait till everyone sees him twirling his hammer and summoning the lightening. It will be breath taking.

Thanks again for looking and all the great suggestions my brothers.

It's a Maximum Aggression 1:6 Triple H body. You can get one pretty cheap on ebay. I think I paid under $20.00 for mine. There have been folks on OSW who have put the upper body on a HT True-Type lower torso. I think waist articulation though when the two are combined. That's way I went with the whole body. Of and is you want to see my Stop-motion work, go to www.youtube.com/actionfiguremovies

I didn't know that was you ! your stop motion is great, i watched every episode 2 years ago!
but your thor just doesn't look right !!No one looks that buff in real life, and if you say you're going for a "comic book look" then you shouldn't of chose a realistic sculpt, it just looks awkward.... Jeeze I saw your older post with the T800 body, now that looks awesome

I could foresee problems with the t-800 body for animation and I liked the size a muscle definition for the other body I chose more. I use to be a body builder many many years ago. These guys in real life are just plain huge. I met Mr. Teen USA and he was one of the biggest guys I had ever seen. I thought they looked big in the mags but in real life, there was little comparison. With that said, my vision was to attempt that version of Thor. So I used the best of what is offered/available. The movie Thor head sculpt, to me is unsurpassed. So I used it. I know it may shock some of you, but I have grown accustom to seeing him this way. It's just my choice and others can still have the original movie version, and that's cool too. I hope everyone will enjoy seeing him come to life as much as they did all the heroes in the last project. Thanks for looking and sharing your honored opinions.

Here are some shots of my modded Thor on a Chris Reeve body with Captain America using the ankle extenders. This makes Thor 12 1/2 inches tall or 6'3" ,Hemsworth's height, with a bit beefier legs. I still want to add some muscle to the arms under the shirt before I'm finished. The CA ankle extenders make him exactly 12 inches or 6 feet which is Cris Evans real height.

That's pretty great. Good job. This is coming from someone who is fairly OCD about the heights of his figures being accurate to what's on screen.

I think it looks better with that body and who cares about being OCD about height, standing next to each other it looks stupid if they are all the same height, wouldnt you prefer them to be more accurate than less. The only problem with it is that now have how much $ invested into that figure?
