I've not been collecting Hot toys long but I do have Mech test tony stark,Capt America, Iron man (bd),bank robber Joker and Dx batman and also Thor who I think is on par with any of the figure I mentioned can't understand what all the negative vibes are with with release?

I will agree that in pics, this guy doesn't look the best. But having him in hand really shows the awesomeness. Anyone remeber how great it was to feel the weight of the hammer? That was one of the best parts about unboxing this guy. I love this figure and even more with my slight mods to it. I really can't wait for Loki to have them both side by side! I will buy the Avengers staff though just to has some variety, maybe the new sculpt too

Sorry for putting this here, but couldn't find the Thor thread I was looking for. Anyway just got my Bowen modern museum Thor and it is awesome, totally flawless and heavy as hell, also it's quite big, a highly recommended purchase.

Your statements are wrong in so many ways
The figure didnt ship in the States till June/July which is just over six months, not almost a year.
It is sold out at all major online retailers and the only places that do still have list it at way above retail.
Almost everyone who actually owns this figure says how impressive it is and that its way better than pictures make it out to be.
You'll find that posting things you make up doesn't work out too well for you in the end...
Different people, different opinions.
The figure suck because the character/actor/movie does.
The movie story is completely changed, one over all Dr. Blake does not exist.
When Thor stay away from his Hammer he change into Dr. Blake.
Dr. Blake summon Thor by finding a stick in a cave.
The actor do not have the "presence" and the bodybuild of a God so the figure does.
MAybe he is well painted but he look like a sick person encased in a dull suit.
Lol...thats all I'm going to say...lol

the movie is produced on the MARVEL comic version.
