People are free to post about not liking something but how many times do you need to post saying the same thing? Why not spend that time in thread for figures you do like? :dunno

I am not saying the same thing,
I am simply answering to everyone replied.
Should I ignore replies?

Or you prefer a topic where only the fanboys write "oh my god how much I like this figure, this is the state of the art, it is perfect"......
Do you like something like this?

I am sorry but you must also accept and respect who has a different opinion than your.....

I just said people posting about why they don't like something is FINE! but why keep posting about it all the time?

So if i kept coming into a thread saying "meh this figure sucks and so does the film" over and over that would be fine yes? That would be helping the thread right? I just don't understand people posting almost the same thing time and time again. The figure/film/actor isn't going to change if you keep posting. :lol

Show me please where is the "over and over"......

This is one of the worst Hot Toys recent figures.

This is the reason why almost after one year it is widely available everywhere

The figure suck because the character/actor/movie does.

The movie story is completely changed, one over all Dr. Blake does not exist.
When Thor stay away from his Hammer he change into Dr. Blake.
Dr. Blake summon Thor by finding a stick in a cave.

The actor do not have the "presence" and the bodybuild of a God so the figure does.

MAybe he is well painted but he look like a sick person encased in a dull suit.

If fact I said that is my opinion that the HT figure sucks because the actor/character does.

The body they used is leaner than the one used for superman.
If collectors are using ankle extensions to make him appear taller.... there should be a reason... or not?
That's more than just coming in once and saying why you don't like it. In any case i'm now wasting too much time going on about this with you, so i'll leave you to keep bashing the figure, film, actor. :wave

Those are all replies to someone that replied to me,
not my redundance.

Almost every post you have made is in regards to an arguement or a negative post about something (Thor/Zombie Spidey/Tumbler re-release). In your first post, you declare yourself an 'avid collector'. Maybe your time would be better spent discussing the things you DO collect, and less time arguing about things you don't collect. You aren't going to convince anyone that you are right, just as nobody here is going to convince you that you are wrong, so just move on.

This forum is about the FIGURE so if you have a problem with joints, suit, articulation or some other aspect of the FIGURE you should discuss it here. If you're gonna keep talking about the actor and the movie, I suggest you do it on imdb or some other forum.

In fact,
move on,
why do you have replied?

I replied, because I am subscribed to this thread and get a notification when there are new posts and I am tired of getting notifications about your useless bull____ ramblings.

Can anyone tell me how to ignore this dumbass? In the 2 years I have been on this forum, I have never had to mark anyone 'ignored', so pat yourself on the back, you truly are the 8th Wonder.

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out.

You are absolutely right,
in fact it is about the figure that I was talking about.

It is my opinion that the figure sucks in representing Thor the God of Thunder not because the HT artists did a bad job,
but because it is the source that missed the point.

The figure is accurate,
but I would never buy a THOR that is barely taller than the Joker.

That is an insult to the character.

Alright guys, let's cool it. This conversation isn't about the HT Thor figure anymore but about one person who doesn't dig the film. So good, we got it 8th Wonder, you don't like Hemsworth as Thor, and you have every right... Let's move on.

So... you say the figure sucks, yet acknowledge that HT did a good job at making this figure, because it looks like the actor and suit from the movie source material, but because you don't like the movie source material you think the figure sucks.

So reasoning by that you think it's a great figure that sucks? :lol

EDIT: Was typing this when Flosi posted. Wes Mantooth is right! Let's get this thread on tracks again! :)

You got the point.

Ok fair enough. So if HT Thor was taller, you would be ok with the figure (not the movie Thor, the figure)?

Nope,
because HT try always to be screen accurate, they can´t make Thor taller because that is what was on screen.

When I buy a figure I must fall in love with the character.
Movie Thor missed it.

I have the same "bad feeling" about the Amazing Spiderman and Man of Steel that will be released in the future.

You keep telling everyone else to ignore you...yet you are the common factor so maybe you should just stop...hows that sound?

Back on topic....

The figure is an excellent representation of the character on screen. Once the helmet mod is done it makes it look even better. Is it perfect? No. Is it an amazing display piece from the Marvel cinematic universe? Absolutely 100% without a doubt!

OK 8th has stated his opinion and everyone is stating thiers. So lets leave it at that.

Supporters of the figure-
Did you guys do any mods on your figure or did you leave it stock?
I modified the tunic so it was a little tighter to the waist. I think it helped make his legs look less frail. I might at some point alter the helmet but have not yet.

I did the helmet mod and boy did it make a difference! I though about find the tunic mod since the legs looked a bit thin but once I put the thigh muscles on it looked perfect!

It was really hard to get the pants back on though with the bigger thighs

i did a bit of modding on mine but failed, i casted the hair and wanted to make a new avengers hair style for him, but the cast didn't look too good. gonna try again next week
