Hate to say it guys, as I've been looking forward to this, but I think this is an alternate universe Mk 1, where Tony makes a small design error and ends up dying during his escape attempt after being gut shot multiple times with AK47 rounds...

Pay attention to the front armor plate covering the stomach area. On the screen original and HT 1.0, this plate comes right down to the waist armor. All the shots here though show a huge gap.

It looks to me like HT maybe did make the 2.0 a bit taller by stretching the torso somewhat without retooling the armor, leaving a pretty vulnerable and unsightly looking 1/2"-3/4" gap between the plates :(

I'm sooooooo buying this. That head sculpt, that exclusive edition extra it's all so drool worthy

Must purchase!!!!!

Its not its the same thing better paint and new head sclupt what you are pointing out its a result of the pose the is leaning back more and it exposing his stomach area more

No. Look at the bottom photo in that set and also compare the distance between the plate that loops under the arm and the belt line between the 1.0 and 2.0, this side plate is nearly inside the belt armor on the 1.0, way above it on the 2.0

This wouldn't be affected by a "lean back". There *is* more space on the 2.0...

Bandito thanks for the v1 vs v2 comparison shots. :clap

The difference between the two are very subtle. The entire core section of v2 contains more gaps in the armor. Perhaps this was intentional allowing the figure a wider range of poses? With such subtle changes and having v1, I feel no need for v2. Money saved......

I think the eyes are a bit too close together, other than that it looks spot on RDJ.

But lets see them charge double for this than they did for the original even though they about the same inlcuded.

$185 is a joke guys look at Red Skull retailing at $200 and has less sculpting and engineering work than this.

This is all good to me. I have the original and my fear was this new release would be far superior and that I would be compelled to buy it. Luckily its slightly better because a decent head sculpt but the original still holds up. Awesome for people that missed the first but not epic enough to warrent a new purchase. Awesome.

Only thing that is bumming me out, is the little holographic suit. That is frikkn awesome.
