Well, uh...Hot Toys didnt deliver a headsculpt either.
I dont know who that free headsculpt is...Looks more like a S Korean Boy band singer than the guy who played Peter Parker. That is not Garfield.

Uhm...The body shape and eyes are kinda a big deal.
In fact, that's one of the biggest surprise to the Medicom. the body looks very natural. And the eyes look really cool and very reflective underneath LED lighting.

This happens with every figure it seems like. There's some bad pictures, people go into panic mode, people ***** and talk about cancelling, and then people start getting it in hand and realize it's not bad and end up mostly satisfied. I could see if Hot Toys had a record of bad releases but realistically how often does that actually happen? There's always a certain segment of people who are never satisfied or think they need to mod but overall Hot Toys releases are pretty top notch if you ask me.

How does a head sculpt get worse!?. i saw the toy fair pics or whatever and they looked better, and that body and suit look very unnatural, that kind of sounds like I'm repeating what everyone else said, but I do like the suit's material and am still sort of happy that I passed on this.

In regards to those other pictures...I haven't shared my thoughts yet. I'm surprised nobody has said this, but that headsculpt makes A-Garf look about 40 years old, when in actuality, he (and Peter Parker) look like a late teenager/young adult. He just looks old. The skin and features look saggy.

All I can really do is wait for some better pictures, which I guess are coming next week.

It's like the hysteria with Luke Skywalker all over again, but I have to say it doesn't look like Hot Toys have improved anything with this figure but we shall see. The Headsculpt was the swaying factor for me so a little disappointed if it does look that bad.

been watching this guy's movie for a while to keep my interest. -_-
and i screenshot some pic for the spidey's eye, and i thought it was less less less gold than the studio photo of the spiderman (in magazine, poster, game). it was like ive always said it was more black mirrored eye.

the only scene ive seen the golden eyes really come out is when he's on a fight scene with lizard on the tunnel (sorry hard to get the screenshot beacuse he kept moving), and the last fight when lizard broke his web device pics below. sorry for the small pics, its seem i resize it too small, ill edit it later

They are pale mirrored gold. The are highly reflective (like the Medi's) so the look different depending on their environment and what's reflected in them. But they are gold.
