I soooo have a love/hate relationship with sideshow. They ship flex pays first and then they don't. They are @$$ backwards sometimes, they need to make up their minds concerning when they will ship my goods to me.

When did you place your order?

Just gotten my Mark 7 yesterday and wow...very awesome in hand.
So many parts and including 1 pair of battle damaged arms.

I do agree that the elbow joints are not so nice looking but it is a tradeoff for much better articulation compared to other Ironman figures.

The eyes on the helmet is acceptable to me but it looks kinda weird when u switch on the light.

I have 1 very small minor chip on the back flap of my figure and otherwise I have a perfect figure.

The ONLY drawback to me on this figure is the rubber panty again...I understand it is there for better articulation of the legs but I prefer the hard plastic panty of the Mark V any time...

Congratulations! It is a great looking Mark. Thanls for sharing pics of it. Makes it a little easier to wait for mine while looking at pictures of this great piece.

Well I finally finished my faceplate mod, and cant wIt to try it on my Mark7 when I get it. I have a second faceplate I wil mod for my battle damaged Mark7, but I will wait until I have that figure so I can decide the best damage mods to do besides the eye mod.
I will get all my progress pics together and some pics of the supplies I used and maybe post a seperate thread like fellow member hokietwo suggested for those that want to mod theirs.

Thanks Bud and I do agree that pictures help us take away the pain of waiting.

It was a crowded scene at my local toy shop where even girls are buying the Mark 7 or accompanying their boyfriend/ husband on toy buying trips.

Honestly, there are so many collectors around but many just buy and do not frequent forums. I used to be like that too, :)

Hope you get yours very soon Mike and I am sure you will love this map.
It is definitely more sturdy than my Mark VI whose chest plate tend to pop out when I move his arms. :clap

Wow that is really cool and do keep us updated on your progress, Cyber.

I think that another main problem with the Mark 7 head is the lighting inside the helmet and how it disperse the light. Makes the Mark 7 head look goofy through the bug eyes haha but it is possible to live with it. :lol

Cool. This mark looks like it should be sturdier, so that great to hear. I love all the Marks in their own wayt. But I do think the Mark VII design reminds me most of a comic IM. And this comes with tons of goodies. Another plus!

This is one of the Ironman beside the Mark 2 AU that I am impressed in terms of goodies.

I became a kid at christmas yesterday when I went through all the accessories, this is one of the best QC Ironman figures from HT ever as I personally encounter a couple of issues with my other Ironman figures.

The pain application is superb on this guy and it is a must for any Ironman collector.

This is good to hear. I love Hot Toys, but always dread the likelyhood of a QC issue. I sure hope this is a great run for this Mark7 and we are all as pleased with ours as yourself Hotking.

Congratulations again:hi5:

What if it doesn't get to you until December?? :lol That's cool you don't mind the wait.

For me it's just I don't have to wait another 3 or so weeks to get the figure. All I have to do is pay sideshow a little earlier which is fine by me to get the figure. It's either pay the 25th or July 15th, so I decided the earlier the better. If it hadn't come out by now, I wouldn't mind either.

And the Man of Steel Figure does look GREAT.

Unfortunately another 3 weeks for me. :impatient:

And I also agree, that MOS figure is INCREDIBLE!!! :rock

I might be getting mine around the same time as Hulk if he really will show up at SS a month after Asia gets theres on the rumored date of June 30th.
