Woah. Mi ex is definitely going to be sold now. It looked so much better in the proto pics, but now I think it looks like something you can actually find at walmart. Not really feeling it.

i wouldnt go that far. this is the only same scale mark VII you are ever going to find at walmart

With all the complaints about the Mark VII helmet head (eyes too big etc), will a Mark VI or IV helmet fit on the neck of the Mark VII figure?

I got my 14 day notice for the Mark VII ex last week from Sideshow and I have a few extra IV and VI helmet heads lying around and would just use one of those instead.

In terms of movie accuracy, i can't belive there is much of a difference between the three.

The 12" inch figures at Walmart are lacking in articulation but they don't look that bad. The helmet on both the Mark VII and Iron Patriot are spot-on and the paint is quite nice. I wonder if it would be possible to buy one of those and cut the face plate off and modify it to fit on the HT figure.


Of all the things to get wrong why did Hot Toys screw up the helmet. Personally it throws the entire figure off but I know others do not even really see it.
