Are Mothers Basement the only place in the UK that still have it up for pre-order?? £279.99 is a bit of a high price though.

I'm still contemplating getting a spare, just in case Modelzone cancel my order!!

Don't know whether to wait until the figure actually releases, as some online retailers might have extra ones.

Does anyone know if the Mark VII be more expensive to buy once its released??

Que Fordjuse rant...

it will likely idle for a bit at release, so many people who ordered extras for the purpose of resale will dilute the market, I'd wait a bit for release personally but it's your call

Mark VII will increase for certain when released. It is up to you what you are comfortable with paying. It will be at least 50% over retail for the norm moving forward baring picking up cancels from places.

I was hoping that would be the case... If my pre-order gets cancelled, I'll hold off for a couple of weeks!

Don't want to be paying over inflated prices!

If the latest preorder price is around £250-£270 ($380-$420), roughly how much do you think it will increase after release?

Yeah I cant garuntee anything but there is a **** load of these that are coming (which is why its sideshow is only getting the ex's as HT is still packing up all the regs for shipment) I cant think of any figure (that wasn't ex) that has skyrocketed at release and hasn't come crashing back down to retail before inching up again,

That's good to know!!

Here's hoping my pre-order still stands and I don't have to look at the secondary market! :)

my fingers are crossed for you, I genuinely feel terrible for you UK collectors, seems like its a pain in the *** to get these figs for good prices over there

The Mark vII is already expensive as far as I can tell

It is a high price through MB, but they are the only seller in the UK, i got it at £265 with my points, a little bit better but still a hard pill to swallow

i doubt the modelzone orders will complete, but if they do, then I'll have 2 Mark vII so no big deal, perhaps I can help a fellow collector get it a decent price in the future

Was your original preorder with modelzone then? If they don't complete, will you only have one mark VII?

I assume that you ordered with MB as a backup.

Thanks!

It is a pain for UK collectors, as there only a handful of retailer that can get the stock at reasonable prices.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but I don't think my Modelzone preorder will come through, so unless I can get mark VII at a good price it looks like I'll miss out on this one! :(

You have my sympathies but chin up. It may take some work but you'll find one. Deals will be out there. :hi5:

I wish you UK guys were stateside because I can still get hulk and iron man for retail .....i would gladly help you guys out.

Yeah, I got a back up with MB but originally ordered with modelzone

it's not an ideal situation, but if I don't get this figure then I have an incomplete Avengers set up, which would drive me insane!!!!

Least I got it secured now I guess

my heart sank when I learnt about modelzone

Thanks buddy.

I'm sure the UK collectors would love to have figures that are so easily accessible.

I'm coming to the US later this year, I'd love to snagg a Hulk while I'm there!! :wink1:
