just got an impressive email from ray at underground figures. he apologized for the delay but not only let me know SS just shipped to him, but provided me with the tracking number to ensure he was being legit. i thought that was very cool! i should get the extra VII hopefully by the end of next week.

check your CC statement online. it should be under pending charges. in a couple of days it will be a recent charge.

BBTS also has a 'pile of loot' system and preorder lineup. if you check your online account, it should say something like it's being moved to the warehouse.

I always wonder if these stores don't think people will see them on Ebay...most online stores use an EBAY name similar or the exact same as thier online store.

I seen this happening more and more on eBay as of late. I don't but there but I have seen it. The kick is sure they are going to get more for this item. But what about the next item? Why PO, really why?
 
So my store back home in NY just called me and got I bought mine over the phone since I'm in South Carolina for the month. Picked it for $350 and my mother is going to go pick it up for me. I have the best mommy in world :)

That's nice. I have/had to wait over a month for my Mark7 to even ship. Get this, they where in stock!

She is the best, just remember Christmas and Mothers Day....Really that is cool.
 
All these stories remind me of a local shop. It's about 35 miles away from me, so I always call ahead of time to check prices and what not. Called to see what Hot Toys/Sideshow figures he has, I tell him I'm interested in Black Widow, and ask The price. He tells me $229, so I say I'll be down after work in a few hours. I get there and tell him what I was there for. All of a sudden he's checking EBay saying "Ya know, the prices on these figures change so fast". So I basically said, "look, you gave me a price and i drove down here specifically for that figure". So he sold it to me, I get in my car and check the reciept and he had it rung up as $399 discounted to $229!!! Ridiculous.

On topic...sweet! Should be getting my ship notification from BBTS soon!

I actually wish I spent the extra and ordered the exclusive from SSC so I coulda had mine over a month now. After the Hulk all my other preorders are from SSC since they warn you 2 weeks in advance when they're going to charge you. You never know with BBTS until it actually happens. However I do like BBTS packing out the figure at no extra charge unlike SSC.

Good one! At least he honored the price when he really didn't have to.
Congrats on not paying inflated prices man!

Only thing that changed on mine was the release date from July to august. But I pre ordered very late. We shall see!

What month did you preorder yours from BBTS. I PO'ed mine back in Febuary, but haven't gotten notice yet. Also selected collectors grade.

It just felt like it was personal, even though it wasn't. He gave me the price on the phone and a few hours later when he saw who I was wanted to up the price. Needless to say I only buy new comics there now.
