Finally got it, was so happy until I pulled him out of the box... This guys hands were almost impossible to interchange, I had to fiddle around a lot with my hair dryer to get them all to interchange easily... not fun while having to grip the netting on his arm. Another thing that I was mad about was the mask, it wouldn't fit in properly so I had to hair dryer that too! Also one of my long metal blades came with some kind of bubbles or residue that doesn't come off... this is totally unacceptable for something of this price. Another thing that happened was the netting snapped at one location on the hip joint although its not noticeable thankfully, still not fun though and some joints were pretty tight.

This is REALLY unacceptable QA from Hot Toys, I had to waste 1-2 hrs of my time to get everything working fine and in doing so risked breaking the figure!

On a positive note, the figure itself is fantastic and is probably my favourite and most anticipated predator ever. The only thing that I don't really like is how his neck seems so short with his bulky armour. Apparently others say the necks of the other predators are too long but I kind of prefer it, especially because it makes Scar look a bit odd in that area compared to the other predators.

Congrats!
I have the same thing with hands. Must pull very powerfull to get off and on. But, this is better then my City hunter where hands loose enough to fall themselves.

I've had my Scar since the 3rd of this month but finally decided to take some pictures.

Excuse the quality, they were taken with my iPod Touch.

Is it me or do his legs extend less than in the photos posted on HTs page when he was released a month ago? I can't get him nearly into any pose like that like with grid alien, etc. Does anybody cut the netting at all for more posibility?

new Pics with my new shelf led light :)

a little gimmick to hold the shuriken - a little band goes to the middlefinger

I wish HT would just stop doing the lighted mask gimmick, its cheesey and having that wire show is an eyesore.

You can run the wire through the dreads and underneath to the center back of the skull and then straight down into the connector. Takes a little bit of manipulation but it works. I cant see mine at all.

Very nice figure and true to the film..but call me an old fart as I can never appreciate the predator designs in AVP. Everything's just so frigging exaggerated like the super-long arm blades and the super-extended shoulder canon. I know the film makers were going for that souped-up look for the new generation but it's like a bad after-market kit stuck on a timeless Ferrari.

Not saying all new designs are bad..the Predators for example were really done right to my eyes.

No offence to fans of Scar Predators :)

AVP designs look like children in kitchenware playing knights.
rodrigators at least brought back something angry to the design, something completely lost in ADI Plastic Paladins.
and yes i'm definitely farter about predators than any of you offended noooobs :nana:

so you like turds. we get it. :dunno

well, i adore P1 armor design, like P2 armor a lot, concider AVP and AVPR armor (ADI) idiotic and lame, and think that Rodrigators are dull compared to originals but better than ADI.
let it be liking turds, whatever )

You absolutely NOT a old fart - ist your opinion and this is ok ;)
Classic and Cityhunter - i love it to ! specialy Cityhunter ;)
But i ranking Berserker /Falconer/Tracker behind the Avp Preds.
Berserkers twisting Plasmagun is to much and i think the Predators Blades are not shorter as the Avp Blades ?!?!
