the proto is soooooooooooooooooo MUCH different, the battle damage is different the face is completely different. UGH can't believe i ordered 2 of these things; this shot is only one that gives me little hope that it could possibly look cool on the shelf. really disliking the HS now, i agree it looks like when he was laying on the ground and hulk ripped his mask off, why would anybody want to recreate that look????? Iono, maybe I need to trade this ASAP; anybody have a ghostrider or hawkeye?

these photos are doing exactly what I didn't want them to do and that it making me want to keep this figure, or at least take it out of the box and look at it

I guess I'll wait and see what the real demand for this figure is going to be

The Tony sculpt has had several changes aside from the faceplate. Eyebrows look more relaxed less angry, also notice the detail inside the helmet. Maybe they made it more screen accurate to the specific scene after he fell.

Well, I am sorry they changed it, because I bought one on inflated price for the extensive battle damage and more specifically the head sculpt. In the changed head sculpt, he just looks spaced out, instead of the angry, focused look I wanted to display him in

The only reason I would have wanted this figure was for the original Tony headsculpt. Now that they changed that, I have absolutely no desire for this figure. MMS 185 FTW

Seriously though, the face looks like a resculpt of Armour Test Tony.
It's a great likeness! Way better than the MKVI helmeted head.

This ia reminding me of the Evil Superman thread. Everyone freaked AS USUAL, when in hand pics came out. Then once we got them, most loved how.different it.is.

Lighting and overall photo quality. Pretty much the answer to every complaint concerning the paint and look of the figure from that person posting up pictures of this figure.

Here it is slightly edited. It looks exactly the way it does in the proto.

Loving the base. Hope I would be able to get one of these from Ebay for my regular mark vii.

It's kinda meh. Proto did look better, but that could just be the pictures rolling in being ****ty. Oh well. Will be displaying with the Mark VII Tony head.
