If it's a case of the rubber and/or the sticky residue of same, brake cleaner degreasant spray will remove it.
Brake cleaner is an all purpose adhesive remover solvent. I use it to remove all kinds of things. If you can pick up a can, cover the suit and only spray a small amount on a cloth and rub it on the mark. A few rubs will let you know whether it is going to come off or not.
If it doesn't, you have the current pic to send to SS, and they will send you a totally new body with suit, and all you'll have to do is destroy the old one anyway.

First impressions are that this figure is seriously bad-***. The suit was and still is a concern for me due to the rubberized material, and in hand it is slightly sticky. The "S" on my figure is perfectly aligned and the piping is all in place. The head sculpt is really nice and because of that I do wish he had PERS. Still awesome though.
The only thing I could find out of place was a small spot on the collar that had a piece of blue string glued to it. The piece of string was easily snipped off but it did leave a tiny mark where the glue is. My OCD says to try and fix it but I should just leave it alone

Has anyone tried the "Saluting" pose with the straight hands? I was thinking that might be a good pose with an American flag behind him.

I really wish Sideshow would respond to me with the issue I had with my stand. I always thought ordering through sideshow gives you the best protection on if you have any issues such as damage or faulty parts but I sure have learned my lesson that ordering direct is NOT the case. I have emailed them twice and even called and spoke to Cathy. She said she would follow up on my email and make sure it was responded to. Tomorrow makes 1 week since I have contacted them and I still have had no response. Worst customer service ever!!! I wish I could post a new thread in the Questions to Sideshow section and ask why dont they respond to their customers. I like how it says within 2 business days when they dont respond in 5 business days even. I just want my Man of Steel figure set to be without flaws even though it is only the stand with issues Im going to end up having to buy a new stand to make it right.
