Cripes here we go again........

HT is CHARGING a HUGE cost for this- they are going to make a FORTUNE- it's not like they are charging us $5 over cost -or even $100 over cost....if you SERIOUSLY think they are just hit hard by licensing and tooling cost and giving us a bargain....I have nothing to say
No doubt it will sell out and be stunning. I just think they are out for $$$$ as fast as they can and overcharge to the max, I'm NOT blaming them, that is the mark of a big successful business

Why should HT let the aftermarket scoop up all that profit? I can't remember the last IM armor figure that didn't sell out. A yr later figs going for 2 or 3 times the retail. Just look at BD mk 7. Not even out yet and going for a ransom. HT would be a fool if they charged for a modest profit when ppl are willing to pay much more. It's pure supply and demand. HT makes the best stuff, so they can charge a premium.

Yes ...thats my point exactly!! Thanks!! They are over charging because they can. Thats what I've been saying all this time. People on here are hating on me for saying it.

I think the bigger issue is that a lot of ppl are are being priced out of high end figure collecting. And what sucks too is the landslide of figures, where you might get 2, but you miss 4 more. When you get the cash those 4 you missed they have doubled in price. It's a treadmill where you hemorrhage cash as long as you stay in the system.

Oh I'm fully aware of that- but the main point was in my last line: "Ultimately, they would get MORE of my money that way, not less."
That's what they're aiming for, right? If they had priced Igor at $450, they would get my money. Now, because of their greed, they get none.

For every guy that's says "no way" there another that will say "yes, I will pay."

And again, they'll live. They won't get yours, but they'll get mine. And a crapload of other collectors too. I'm sure that will more than make up for your business.

Your argument is invalid.

Im a designer, i know what the costs are to run a design business because thats what HTs does, they design toys. He is only thinking about production. The costs to actually run the company, design, all the R&D is where all the costs factor into it. The design costs and licensing is very very expensive and months are spent designing these toys. Production is one small aspect of the business and they need to make profits to have the best artists in the world working for them. If they didnt make profits, they wouldnt be in business very long not be able to do what they do.

If $50 is stopping you from ordering a figure you are in the wrong hobby

No they are greedy. If they priced this at $350 they will still make HUGE profits!

Only your big corporations are making billions of profits and it's still not enough for them.

Do you have stock in Kleenex?

It's like taking issue with mercedes over the price of its new model. Or the cost of a penthouse apartment in New York City. We all can't afford it, but I don't take issue with what they charge because it's what the market will bear.

But if I was 17 with no job and wanted to collect, it's hard to say I wouldn't be pissed.
