It's way too overpriced! How they can justified being more expensive than Iron Monger,Tumbler and 1/4 Bats and almost double the Hulk price??

It's ridiculous.

I didn't notice that, more expensive than the Tumbler? Not to mention he's just about touching the range of the 1989 Batmobile. Especially if you order from Sideshow and get pack out option which adds $20, $10 flat rate+another 10.

Before the movie was even out, Hearthbreaker, Igor, and Red Snapper were announced/teased. The only suits that were called by name in the script (Other than mk 42/Iron Patriot, of course). I wish Marvel gave them a heads up and simply said "Stark wears this suit, that suit, etc...''

Like you say, a BIG part of the marketing strategy was all the suits. Loads of net based ads named the suits, and gave them mark numbers.
I was watching the movie the other day with the commentary on.
Shane Black said that when he first saw that kind of ad, he was upset that Disney/Marvel were giving the game away of the House Party scene.
He wanted to advertise the movie with NO extra images of the suits, and have the 35 new ones be a total surprise. He couldn't believe Marvel advertised the new suits.
But the decision was made a lot higher up that the suits be a big part of the marketing strategy.

OK so the price is expensive, even ridiculous, sure but that's the way it is and the prices are not going down!

HT are well aware that Igor is not going to sell in the same quantities as the other suits but they've made it anyway for those that want it. Buy it or don't buy it.

It looks awesome.

I will definitely buy this Igor. Even though I don't agree with the price but I love the metal scratches details and all the wear and tear on it. Look realistic than the rest of IM3 Armors. I pretty much pre-ordered almost every armor except Red Snapper and I won't order Gemini because it doesn't impress me that much. Do u guys think Hot Toys going to release more armors? I'm broke now.

Hmm. Monger was $479 as opposed to $509 for this. Considering the economy's inflation and the consequent rise in production costs, the hike seems proportionate. He is overpriced though, no doubt about it.

...It is also the fact that anything Iron Man related is hot now, and demands a premium. Consider that a 1/4 scale Batman, or T-800 Endoskeleton cost less and just came out.

surely igor is a completist's nightmare. many don't think he's worth the money. i like him but the price is at too high a point if you ask me. ordered from BBTS anyway but if i can gather together a good amount of rewards points between now and ship date, i'll order from SS and cancel my BBTS order. i believe this is the only way to make igor affordable.

You guys are located in Hawaii? How long does it take for you to ship stuff from there?
Actually we have 2 shipping centers, with the main one located in Los Angeles, California, and a smaller one located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Most of the orders ship from Los Angeles, California.

If they ship from California, maybe they are drop shipped directly from SSC, therefore it would ship in the Brown shipper.

Please note if you are canceling an order paid with PayPal, then there will be a 10% non refundable deposit.

Question for anyone who has ordered from them in the past:
How is the packing of their items?
Do they ship in the brown shipper, or do they double box like BBTS does.

Perfect example there. As a proud owner of 1/4 Bats (he's beautiful) I can not Believe the prices he's fetching on ebay already. BD Mark VII type of prices. Not so much for T-800 though.

Maybe Igor doesn't sell like HT is hoping. Who knows.

Comparing this to the prices of 1/4 scale figures is more accurate. Its essentially the same or close to the same height as 1/4 scale figures. Just like Monger and Hulk.
