Just saw the scene, yea Igor is already under the crane that couldn't be it flying

And I just thought of something... So he blew up all the suits? With Igor holding the crane up too? :rotfl

That was seriously my thought the first time I watched it, was wondering why the thing didn't come crashing down.

I suppose Jarvis was smart enough to not blow up the load bearing Igor, but then he was probably stuck there long after the battle ended. That would have been a fun post credits stinger come to think of it :lol

Yupp classic Marvel ending lol

I think blue steel was the first to get destroyed by the extremis soldiers :-\

I understand about the screen accruary but i still think it is a waste IMO. The Faceplate, Chest and hand lights can all be seen from multiple angles and while standing.
The feet light up feature can only be seen if the legs are bent towards the rear and the figure is facing away from you or if it is laying down with it's feet towards you (the table with MKII) and i doubt you would be doing that with something as big as Igor.
Again, even if the chest RT, hand repulsors and faceplate eye slits are visible from all angles, they need not include a light-up gimmick since a majority of us would use that feature just once in a while to show off/drool at/photograph the figure. And BTW, with the Mark II on the table, the feet repulsors need not be lit anyway! :doh :wink1:

I'm happy with the way Hot Toys has engineered these figures; I'm questioning this exclusion only because it has been featured on the Mark II AU, which is an older (comparatively) figure. At least the VII oughta have it. :lecture

this is what was meant, the post i referenced said that hot toys had omitted feet repulsors from their toys. i know that all of the armors have feet repulsors and actually the hot toys figures do have them they just dont have lights.
Oh alright. My bad

I don't think it's a big deal that hts doesn't put lights on the feet, would it be nice, sure but it definitely never bugged me. Igor flying is cool to see, never could catch that at normal speed without knowing to look for it.
Same reason I've outlined above. If you've done it in the past, why not include it now?

You know, I am wondering if that't not Hammerhead flying there. Its definitely bigger than the standard armor, but that back seems much smoother than Igor.

Hammerhead, I don't have any angles of the backside of this one though, so its a bit of an extrapolation

vs Igor

But Hammerhead clearly has thrusters on the back that isn't in the mystery flying image (as to the other big armors, Peacemaker and Red Snapper etc), so I dunno, but the flying one looks like it has more silver on the back of the legs than Igor too. And the only other thing is the flying is about 3 seconds after Igor props up the crane, so if that's him than its a bit of a continuity problem as well. I don't doubt that Igor flies though! I'm pretty sure he didn't jog all the way from Malibu
When I saturated the image, that armor clearly showed off hues of blue. IIRC, there's no other armor in the Iron Legion that has a blue livery except Blue Steel. Secondly, if you look at the armors flying adjacent to it in the sequence, you get an idea of it's size and bulk w.r.t to others. Hammerhead has a blunt, more bulbous appearance but it's nowhere as hulking as this one; Red Snapper, Southpaw and Peacemaker being the only other bulked-up armors. Also, Hammerhead has more of a greenish-blue paintjob than Igor.

Regarding the continuity, can we safely assume that those 3 seconds in between Igor's appearances weren't in real time? Maybe, he steadied the structure himself initially and later propped it up with a support to join the other armors in the ensuing fight. I agree that it's a continuity error though.

Where did that pic come from?
I'm not sure but I think it's Gentle Giant.

Edit: Not GG

Or maybe the other Armors just carried him ? :dunno
:lol Just like Rhodey :medic

Are people really back to arguing whether Igor can fly or not?
Yeah, for now. We'll eventually analyse the suit's in-built filtration system. :D

Maybe it looks too embarrassing to see such a "fat" armor flying, and so they did'nt animate it.
Iron Monger was fat :thud:

I've done these myself, mostly just to learn and ogle all the armors and generally fill my head with completely useless but fun information

Nightclub!

If only Nightclub was black with red like the concept art he would look sick. I think there is enough red and gold suits already but id still get him if he came out like this.

Yeah Nightclub has been all over the place in concept figure form, all grey, brown silver and grey, black and silver w/ red lights, then in the film just red and gold. I dig the look though, I like the look of the different takes on the "face" of the suit.

Speaking of helmets, although Thumper/Striker and Gamma are not my favorite suits ever, I love how their helmet is illuminated- I'd get a figure that lights up like that in a heartbeat.

:slap :lol Nice find.

Yeah. Same here. Too bad most of the suits weren't used/described on-screen and were just blown away.

Yeah I dont know if ht will make'm all but i do like piston, nightclub, shotgun, hammer head, bones, and maybe tank.
SO MANY SUITS!!!!
If they plan on doing them all, they'd probably do the original individual designs first with rehashed/repaint variants thrown in between.

Hammerhead has some decent illumination on the helmet too. Maybe as auxiliary lights for deep-sea diving. And while we are on the topic, Heartbreaker has the coolest illuminated bits all over :D

Yes, and yes. I'm sure it won't, but man how sweet it would be if the Heartbreaker figure had all those little lights work :thud:
