if HT where to make this true to scale, can you imagine how big its going to be?

I think this also lets us know that even after the hugely disappointing ending to IM3, yes Tony Stark is STILL Ironman

I have a sideshow 1/6 (closer to 1/5) Hulkbuster and it's massive but close to scale with the HT Hulk. I'm planning on the complete HT Avengers 2 lineup, so I hope this one figure does not kill my budget.

i wont be surprised if hulkbuster was controlled by ultron, since hulk would probably go through the normal class ultrons.

So just watched the ABC Marvel show and...
it looks like the stuff they've been shooting in South Africa was from the scene depicted in that concept. They showed what looked like a stand in arm from the hulk buster

Hulk buster is gonna be twice as big as Monger. Well at least one third bigger and I bet he's the first Hot Toys figure to crack the $800 threshold. Honestly, whatever they end up charging, I'll pay. Oh man, this could even be the first armor that you can actually put a full figure inside. If that's how HT produces it, it may even crack $1000. Yes I know nothing has been announced and it's only concept art but a man can dream, right?

I don't think it will eclipse the size of Monger regardless of how big it is on screen. Monger is already well past the sixth scale ceiling, so making a Hulkbuster 2/3 bigger or 32-34" tall is insane :lol I agree w/ you though Hippie, I'll pay!

I meant one third bigger so 22-23". Either way it would be HUUUUGE. I'm just liking the idea of Tony actually fitting inside the armor. How awesome would that be?

That idea is appealing to a lot of people but not for me personally. I've only opened Monger's cockpit to see Stane one time and that was the day I got it just to make sure he was there :lol

I'm sure the folks at Hot Toys probably did a happy dance when they saw that Hulkbuster concept armor. It was like cha-ching! I'd guestimate $600-$650 though depending on what's inside (i.e. Tony will probably be wearing some kind of a special inner suit and there will probably be servos for the HB arms and legs). Regardless, it will be joining the Iron Man party in the collection.

That was NEVER going to change, he grew up that doesn't mean he will retire or something :lol he just won't be 24/7 making suits..

Ha, same here with Monger. I would like a set though just to display Tony getting ready to climb in the HB or something along those lines..
