I prefer the magnetic shield on the figure actually. I found the hand on STRIKE Cap very hard to attach and stay on with the shield. The straps also don't hold it tight at the arm so it slips down his arm a bit when it is facing down. Had no issues with the magnetic shield on AoU Cap however.

Straps over magnetic for me, simply cause I think it looks better and cause it's classic Cap. I never had problems with the straps on my Cap figures though.

You can always put the straps on the AOU CAP with the hands, but You can't put the magnetic on the CW cap if it doesn't have the magnet parts.

I was convinced I wouldn't need another Cap, but if the final product ends up like that I'll replace AoU Cap.

I was convinced that I didn't need this Cap since I think the AoU is absolutely perfect, but the more I see this guy, the more I'm convincing myself that it's a totally different figure

I like the magnetic shield and the AOU Cap better as well...He will be my definitive Cap!

Whether it's in the movie remains to he seen, the only sign of the scale mail suit has been in promo art. It looks awesome though.

Ah, gotcha'. I'm hopeful it'll be in the movie. Cap loves to have a final battle costume change in his movies, so why stop now?

Yeah we don't know if we'll see the scale mail but the wings on that helmet are different from the Age of Ultron one.

I do see an excellent way to add the scale mail, without being just a stupid wardrobe change. But I don't believe they will go this route.

After Stark (or the government, or both) confiscate their gear (which I believe is what is happening on that scene at the trailers and the reason for the old shield instead of the magnetic one), he needs someone else to make him a costume. And the guy from Daredevil would be perfect (and that would even explain the scale armor, since he uses different materials).

If they take his shield then he won't have one. It's all supposed to be the same shield. I don't think that explains the difference.

And I don't see any reason why they would bring in some random guy from daredevil. Just have Scott or pym make it.

Like Motux stated, if Team Cap has a tech guy in this film, I see it being Pym and/or Scott.

That helmet looks the same as AoU and CW thus far. I do notice that the silver wing has the TWS paint scheme instead of AoU/CW, looks like a mistake by the artist.

If they make a scale mail suit it won't be the same Aou suit or the one we have seen from CW so far just with some small scale accents over it. Be completly pointless and a waste of time. It will be very different. And that image is just an up lose artist render of the larger face of scene between the two sides, and in that full image it's the standard CW mod of the Aou suit Cap is wearing.
