No idea. Someone stumbled across it earlier and said it's blocked now. The link says it's the dark side Anakin version though.

Sweet! Thanks for the info. Yeah, I've been saying for a while now that I definitely think a Sith Eyes Excl. Is on the horizon. I'd probably be in for it also if it comes with a cool Mustafar diorama, eh?

Of course! I see they might be releasing a "dark side" Anakin, but unless it's a head sculpt only, I think I'm going to just go ahead with my custom paint. I can't see what they can do different from the current figure, which is really great, and pretty much "dark side" except for the eyes. And I'm not one to swap heads and poses a lot, so I'm ok with just having one head

That would actually be great if it was just the head. I know they won't do it but since this figure just came out I would be annoyed had I preferred the Sith eyes version or something.

That's what I'm figuring. It's almost certainly going to be a full figure, and I just don't see the need to have two Anakins exactly the same except maybe eyes, hair, and some burnt clothing. A chopped up, dirty, "I HATE YOU!" version might have gotten my interest, but I also realize it's not a very dynamic figure as far as poses would go.

Even on the head swapping...I ordered a custom Kylo head because I was so concerned about having the helmet and helmet-less head, and since I got the head without the helmet, I haven't changed it back once. So most likely, no matter the release, I'm just going to move forward with the custom eye paint. Ani looks "dark side" enough as it is with this figure, at least for me.

I haven’t watched the film in a while. Does his uniform get damaged or anything on Mustafar (other than after he’s defeated and burnt to a crisp obviously)?

Possibly a SDCC/Convention exclusive to be revealed in a 2-3 weeks.

I still wouldn't be surprised if they do some sort of EX package where they do a BD Anakin and Obi-Wan from the Mustafar duel and the separate, single releases are the clean versions (this figure and the current RotS Obi-Wan up for PO), while the BD versions are only available with the dual pack.

It'd be easy to do because all they'd need to do is dirty up the outfits a bit, and repaint Anakin's sculpt.

Different strokes, lol. For me, the figure is almost fully "dark side" Anakin, except that bland expressionless face. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful face/head sculpt, but it sort of is just....there. at least by changing the eyes somewhat, he becomes a definitive "bad guy" which is what I want the figure to be. The current sculpt just does say "dark side" to me, or the earnest good guy Anakin either. It's just...there. (all of this is my opinion only. I bought him to pair with Obi when released in a saber battle, and I don't like his current face look for an angry saber battle).

I prefer him without the robe and you'd have to leave the robe on with the Sith eyes for it to be movie accurate.

I wanted to buy a second one anyways...one posed with robe and one without. The Sith eyes version would be perfect excuse. Plus....the dual saber pose calls back to when he was still good but just killed Dooku. So could have Anakin with dual sabers and Vader with Sith eyes.

Good deal, it works out well for you then! I just couldn't get it to where I liked him with the robe on so I put it back in the box. I think I'd only buy a second Anakin if they gave us an Ep. II version. Then I could display that one with the good guys and the ROTS with the bad guys.
