Obi-Wan is a given. I'm more curious about how deep into the prequels Hot Toys goes for figures. I mean they jumped right to the third film for their first reveal. Granted it's probably one of the most anticipated prequel figures but I wonder how much they'll do for the first two films.
Maybe Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Maul for The Phantom Menace. I doubt they'd release young Anakin or Padme. Second film Obi-Wan, Anakin, Mace Windu, Jango, and Dooku. Possibly a Padme and maybe a Yoda. Third film besides Anakin and Obi-Wan maybe Palpatine prior to becoming the Emperor and another Vader. Then of course sprinkle in various Clones for the whole trilogy.
I'm not surprised they jumped right to Episode III first.
Anakin is obviously the main character that Episodes I-III are centered around (and in some respects I-VI) and out of I-III, III is generally regarded as being his most popular look, since that is when he was in full Jedi form.
Like I said and you echoed, RotS Obi-Wan is a given. And it'll be RotS simply to match the RotS Anakin release. I also imagine that a Darth Maul is pretty much a certainty, as he seems to be one of the more popular SW villains in general and has the iconic double bladed lightsaber. Everything else in my opinion, is kind of up in the air. I don't imagine they will release another Anakin, being that RotS seems to be the most popular look for him, as mentioned. I don't think an AotC Anakin would sell very well. Qui-Gon, Windu (either AotC or RotS), AotC Obi-Wan, TPM Obi-Wan, Yoda (either AotC or RotS), AotC Dooku, Clone Trooper, Jango. All those to me are ones I can't necessarily say they'd do for sure, but have good possibilities.
RotS Anakin (obviously), RotS Obi-Wan and a TPM Darth Maul are all ones I think that are for sures. And those are also coincidentally actually the only ones I'd have an interest in.
