That is so weird when i apply the payment plan the earliest payment i can get is Jan 2019 and there is no 29th option.

yeah, I agree. I'm not mad nor do I think I'll be getting the figure that early, but it's simply odd.

Hmm depending on the thickness of the cloth, I wonder if some of the SS clone parts like wrist guards and stuff would fit on him. Would be cool to be able to make his TCW look

Sold out at BBTS both normal + deluxe. Prequels figures are gold mine for Hot Toys

I ordered these him and Anakin because I knew it'd cost me a lot more to pick them up later. I wish they were coming out a year from now. I wonder if they're running to the prequels because of the lack of success with TFA and TLJ figures.

Howard talked about doing Anakin before TFA even came out.

There was talk that Anakin was supposed to be the next figure after the DX Bespin Luke Skywalker... years ago.

Howard talked about doing Anakin before TFA even came out.

Howard has also said some figures have been in development for a long time. This actually makes sense.

They may have planned to release Anakin, then TFA came along and they decided to shelf Anakin as they would have had to deal with all the new characters. Nothing better than new characters to go with the hype of a new movie.

Like Protozaius said, Anakin was supposed to be released as a dx after Luke. That was 2011.

I'm sure the outfit is the same, but they might do a battle damage version. A crispy Anakin would be cool with a Mustafar platform. We should stop talking about Anakin in the Obi section, someone might get their panties in a bunch.

It would have been nice to see the ObiWan come with a piece of floating scrap as his base and Anakin come with the Lava Droid as his base. This way you can pose them like they were fighting as they coasted around.

No. That was one of the most ridiculous parts of that fight. That and them fighting on the rope swings. Good duel until they end up in the lava river, got silly after that.

Speaking of which, this movie explains why Palpatine turned to the Dark Side. He was tired of being directed by Yoda, tired of being Alfred's butler and most of all, very displeased by Steve Martin breaking his VCR.
